Our sponsorship letter took something like at least a week to get to vancouver. It will have your client id. I'd say if it's been 2 weeks since they sent the letter, then I would call to see what happened. Most likely you've been approved and the app is on it's way to the ND office.

My sponsor is also in Vancouver and our letter was sent on 20th but still not in the mailbox yet

I called CPC-M this morning but keep telling me they are processing applic. received by Feb 11 and I might have to wait more than a month :'(
This is very hard and crazy....................................

If the application is taking too long, then it is too bad for us because there is nothing we can do about it, just try to enjoy this nice weather. try try try

We paid online...and I used the Receipt # to log in.

Unfortunately , doesn’t work for me. I just keep my finger crossed cause 16 and 17 is just one day. But who knows what is happening at CPC-M.

Some good NEWS!

CPC Mississauga, just updated their website and processing time went down from 67 days to 65 days now LOL and they are processing up to February 17th now

and they updated today and they claim on the website, updated 26th April, what forgot to hit update......LMAO

I have the feeling February 17 or before February 11 shows they finished all application submitted to that date. Just they are keep telling us they are working on applic. submitted to that date. Otherwise is no logical answer how are they processing some cases up to March 16.
They are trying to be on the safe side and update their website with the dates they are finished processing.

Ok, my DH got the e-mail this morning to show up for an interview in June bringing the originals of birth certificate and marriage certificate (if not submitted earlier), along with letters, e-mails, joint account, pictures, etc.
Should we order CAIPS to get some details before going to interview?
Also, we applied for an extension to stay in Canada (he is with me in canada right now), and he didn't get it yet. Will be there any problems to get back to Canada? (even if he is from visa exempt country)? Do they make a decision the same day and he might get a visa or it's issued later?
Please somebody share their experience.

Oh, BTW - can I go with him and be present during the interview?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. My wife actually called this morning, and they told her to try back in a month, as they were only processing up to Feb 11th. I checked 10 minutes later, as I do every day, and I was able to log in. They had processed ours and sent the letter as of yesterday. Even the Call Centre didn't have this information.

The website timelines aren't accurate, and the information at the Call Centre only mirrors the website. So hang in there...you should be able to log in any day now.

Which still begs the question--why are they working on applications from March 25 if they still haven't finished ALL of the applications from March 24?

Great question, abedelia...we've been asking the same thing for the last six weeks...wish I could figure out their system.
