Thanks for the good wishes, They replied the same day we received our passport (our ecas was also updated same day). They can take about 2-3 weeks to reply.canada101 said:Thank you very much calgary_flames for your reply. I have sent New Delhi Office an email and waiting for their reply. When you sent them an email in how much time did they reply you back ??
Thank you and WIsh you & your spouse Good Luck for the new beginning \
cheers
Congratulations and good luck! As soon as we got our AOR, I asked Ottawa to forward the results of my medical to BUF, and it seemed to help our application to be processed quickly by BUF. Ottawa replied the next day and told us they had sent the medical that same day.frenchrock said:I received the AOR from Buffalo today!!!!
The letter says that my file is in query awaiting assessment. I know that my medical has expired (April) so they should (will) be requesting that I take another...that paperwork was not included with this letter...but progress, nonetheless. I'm stoked!
I'll update my timeline later...just wanted to share the news, especially for those who had received their sponsorship approval around the end of April.
Cheers!
what was the reason that you needed to ask Ottawaalisa said:Congratulations and good luck! Also, if you're interested, come join our Buffalo thread - you can see how other Buffalo applications are proceeding:

I did that because I've read somewhere in this forum that sometimes people got letter from visa office that they hadn't received the medical result and also some people said it could take up to 2 months from the date you did medical check up that Ottawa send the result to visa office. I don't know if it's true but it doesn't hurt to try. At least it made me knew for sure Ottawa got the medical result and forward to Buffalo. So it is not something you must do except you feel like to do it.heatherusa said:what was the reason that you needed to ask Ottawa
to forward the medical on to Buff. Isn't that something they do automatically or does that have to do with when you had the medical done? We did our medical before we sent our application so I am thinking they match them up.
How did you contact Ottawa?alisa said:I did that because I've read somewhere in this forum that sometimes people got letter from visa office that they hadn't received the medical result and also some people said it could take up to 2 months from the date you did medical check up that Ottawa send the result to visa office. I faxed them the letter to both number 613-954-6211 and 613-954-8653. In the letter, I mentioned my name, nationality, date of birth and my immigration file number as well as gave them information when and where I did medical check up. I asked them to forward the result to the visa office and also asked them to confirm us by returned fax once it is done.heatherusa said:How did you contact Ottawa?
What a great idea. This may seem stupid but I didnt know that is where the medical went... or is that just for inland medicals?alisa said:I faxed them the letter to both number 613-954-6211 and 613-954-8653. It only took a day that they faxed me back to confirm my medical result had been forwarded to Buffalo.
I don't know about inland but all outland application, medical result will be sent from DMP to Ottawa and then Ottawa will forward it to visa office.heatherusa said:What a great idea. This may seem stupid but I didnt know that is where the medical went... or is that just for inland medicals?
Thanks for the info BTW.
