Hey compudnet
You should have found somewhere in Ontario to use an address for it would have been faster i think and i guess cheaper.I looked up the time lines for sao paulo and it says 4 months if all is well but i heard some have had it done in two months through Sao Paulo lets cross our fingers

Yeah I guess I could have used a canadian address but they still have to send it to Sao Paulo.

Two months for some people.. wow that would be great.

The CIC website says:
5-9 months.. for Sao Paulo.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for sure! :P

Dralon

My wife called to the cic today, and they are worst than never now, they told her, that everything is normal, nothing wrong is happening, when you see in the web page until feb. 11th, and waiting time 60 days, that means, when they will open our file, they have 60 days to send us a letter. ??? So I think is a wasting time call to the cic.

sigh it's long and painful well let's wait and keep each other posted if we have news.

oh and thank you very much on sharing your wife phone experience with cic

hello all,

just thought i would share some info. about the CSQ:

I called MICC today as it has been 20 business days since i submitted my partner's CSQ application and found out that they did issue it on April 9, 2010 but had entered the wrong postal code in their system. Thankfully they send a copy to Buffalo on their own (lets hope at least) and the CSQ is not required until my parnter lands - the lady on the phone was a bit rude, but still helpful in the end and advised me to call back in 2 weeks if we still did not receive the CSQ in the mail.

If anyone has or will send forms to MICC, you can call them at 514-864-9191 if you have not received your CSQ within 20 business days and they can verify if the application was approved/CSQ was issued.

Cheers!

Hello Everyone in the Feb thread,

Just curious if anyone that is going thru CIC london has heard anything. Currently my partner and I are "in process" as of March 22 and haven't heard anything yet.

cheers

Hey holiday, we're around the same timeline as you via london office, however we're waiting for us to go back on track after needing a psych report. But they sent us a letter a few days after we got the sponsorship approval and notice of it going to london letter, so maybe you will be hearing some good news soon!

Hey silver_spirit

Should have mentioned. Sponsorship was approved March 4. Been in process in London since March 22. We got the letter after sponsorship approval Just nothing as of yet. I know there is a document missing as it was unavailable to us. so just curious if it's strange that we haven't heard anything from them. even requesting that doc. The joys of Waiting.....

If you have received your AOR with a B file number from London, you can prepare the missing document and submit it to London before they request it!

And if you receive a request while that missing document is on its way to London, you can email London to inform them that you have already sent it via email: 'london-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca' just make sure to include the B file number, the sponsored spouse's full name and birth date in your communication!

This can help reduce the waiting time...GL

Hello, you can note my timeline below - our application is in process in London from March 10th, so 12 days before you. We just received a request for additional information from the police on 8/4/10 so it does take them time to go through the file and assess if they need anything additional! We sent them what they required and it arrived to CIC-London 12/4/10! Now waiting for PPR hopefully soon :D

I have received the AOR & just now my ecas got updated as well. They started processing my application on April 13.

Congratulations zeeshee, I am sorry for the question, but what mean AOR??? ;D I always had had that doubt

Can everyone else log into E-cas now? I still can't log in with reciept or client numbers and i've tried it with both our details (just in case), its just making me a bit worried that i still can't log in after this long!

remember where it says surname it is your last name only and it is the name of the one who submitted the application not the person who is being sponsored and make sure you change the top to the client number.

We sent our app to Mississauga on feb 5th was done there and sent to Sao paulo mine was updated today the 20th as to say it was started to process in Sao Paulo april 13th.

Hey Dralon, did you see the update of the cic web site today??? is unbelievable they still are on Feb 11th, and the waiting time now is 67 days, 3 weeks stucks on Feb. 11th, come on!!! >:(
