Hello again,

Im a bit confused as to what part of the process I am currently at. The update I have just had is as follows:-

"We received MARK xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx's application for permanent residence on January 26, 2011.

Medical results have been received."

I am just wondering weather or not this is classed as an AOR or a file transfer? I didnt think from reading other posts and threads that London office sent out AOR's and that appears to be what it is.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Mark

I took this as AOR, some embasies dont send officials letters. Appaerently, where you click to see this message (under Permenent Residence Application Status), it will say "In Progress" when they have actually started looking at it. the file transfer date appears to be the same date you are approved as a sponsor... although there is probably a few days delay.

So, I just got an e-mail asking for my husband's PPT, and asking me to pay the RPRF (which I already did, how do I show them that, they are asking for it)?

This is the e-mail (by the way I didn't e-mail them, they just randomly e-mail me?):

Please be advised that a letter has been mailed on January 25, 2011 at the mailing address requesting following by March 11, 2011:

- Police Clearance Certificate for applicant
- RPRF to be paid in Canada by sponsor
- Passport for applicant

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Wow! Congrats, Nylalisa. New Delhi is super fast on the Passport requests. Most of us haven't even had an AOR yet! :)

I know that I've read in this forum before about a situation like yours. I just did I quick search and can't find the thread that I'm thinking of. You might want to ask them in the general forum again, if no one in this one knows the answer for sure. If I remember right, the best way to is mail or fax a copy of the receipt to them with your client number.

Congrats again!

Congratulations for the progress guys !! This is great :)

I haven't been able to log in to E-cas, neither with my name or my husband's. Should I be worried??

I don't think so. I haven't been able to either, and I haven't noticed anyone from the Buffalo office that has said they could.

Thanks for the help nylalisa. It has cleared things up for me.

congratulations on getting your PPR.

Mark

Hi all,

Just an update to my file. :)

I received an email from e-cas tracker. I logged in manually to e-cas and message read..

"We received your application for permanent residence on January 28, 2011.

Medical results have been received."

Congrats, Gally! :) I've updated your information in our spreadsheet.

We received XXXXXXXXX application for permanent residence on January 27, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

- yey, at least they have it in London now!

New Delhi seems to be moving fairly quickly ! I should have probably considered making New Delhi as my husband's VO, since he and I are citizens of India and got married there as well. But well, I guess since he lives in US, Buffalo it was! I just hope Buffalo speeds up as well...I am the last one in our thread for Buffalo...so I am really hoping to hear some good news from all of you now :)
Good luck

Sparkle PPR for new delhi doesntmean u will get visa stamp soon after. They seem to like to keep ppl's passports..sometimes for mths after ppr. I guess it depends on what stage u r. I gotmy ppr quick in initial review so i will have to wait. Theres work to doon their side. The earliest i expect visa for hubby is March. Im just going by what ive read n heard so dont quote me.

Buffalo is a little slower than delhi. Delhi is 6 mths. Is it 9 mths for Buffalo...but remember it may not. Some cases r resolved quicker. Good luck!

Yeah , you are right. I 've read some threads where people from New Delhi visa office have had some trouble getting their passports back. So I guess there are pros and cons. Buffalo usually doesn't take that long, as per everyone's experience on this forum. So lets hope it goes quick for all of us :) Thanks and good luck to you too !

Hi guys. I hope everyone is fine and well here. I got the following update :

"received xxxxxxxxx application for permanent residence on January 28, 2011. Medical results have been received."

Looks like tally and I both will get the visa together hehe.
