Grats to everyone who got a DM for 1st stage, Im glad that everyone got an approval. Compared to other month threads our turnout is very good. Even if mines is declined Iam still happy for the december thread.

I called CIC again today and no info still, They just said that they opened my application on the 24 of january.

Hi guys! I'm super sleepy tonight, so I'll post our weekly update tomorrow morning. It's looking good for the December thread! Most of our decisions have been made and approved, and we have a few "In Process", as well as one passport request. I'll get that up in the morning.

Ok, lets say they decline me, but I really wanna live with my wife and son. Can I just buy a plane ticket and live in vietnam forever? Im getting ready for the worst. I don't mind living in Vietnam for the rest of my life. Its been almost a year since Ive seen my wife, and Ive never even seen my newborn son since he was born. I can't miss my son's progress in life.

They won't decline you. I don't think we've had a single refusal in our group, and it's very hard to be refused when you're sponsoring your family. I know the waiting is hard, but you'll be approved any day now.

Hi December Applicants,
I just wanted to share our happiness. CIC received our Outland application December 7th, 2010. A decision was made January 11th, 2011 on ecas, and yesterday January 28th, 2011, I got an email from the Embassy in Beijing that our application is in process and to send my husband's passport! So quick! Nothing finalized yet but I'm sooooo happy!!!

Hope everyone is doing well and continuing to recieve good news.

Just had an ecas update today saying that my application for permanent residence has been recieved on january 26th (i assume this means in London) and also that my medical results have been recieved.

please add this to the spreadsheet if you could.

hope everyone else hears soon if not allready!

Hello again,

Im a bit confused as to what part of the process I am currently at. The update I have just had is as follows:-

"We received MARK xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx's application for permanent residence on January 26, 2011.

Medical results have been received."

I am just wondering weather or not this is classed as an AOR or a file transfer? I didnt think from reading other posts and threads that London office sent out AOR's and that appears to be what it is.

Anyone know?

For those who are going thru Buffalo - does anyone know what the "average" time is from when your file is transferred to Buffalo and you get the next stage approval - in process?
