Add me to the list of bogus tracker updates... Although Kayan and Candc2009's posts give me hope! Maybe the tracker had some sort of pre-AOR hiccup? Seems plausible since all of us still waiting got these false updates...

thanks ^_^ I hope everyone gets theirs soon...Now for the wait to find out if an intereview is required or not.....I think I sent enough proof, photos, emails, cards. The only think that could work against us is we got married spontaniously (lol he asked me and we went down to the courthouse and were married 2 days later) and no one was there with us. We plan on having a cerimony and reception once he gets a job and we get settled (will be exchanging rings at that time too). but I think we will be fine ^_^

If it's any consolation, we got married pretty spontaneously as well. We had a longer engagement (almost a year and a half). But we didn't set a date until about a week or so in advance, and then I had to track down an officiant and set up a time with them. Our courthouse doesn't do weddings. And especially not without scheduling it first. So, it was me, him, the officiant, and two of her friends who were paid to be our witnesses. Not even the cat attended - she was shut in the bedroom.

I told them that we interested in having a marriage, not a wedding. My family still wants to hold a reception/family dinner for us as soon as we can get down there.

well at least we aren't the only ones who had no one there We were pretty lucky, we went down to the courthouse and scheduled to get married like 2 days later. It's pretty cool though without intending it we got married between Canada Day and July 4th ^_^

your cat should totally be at the family dinner, I have a turtle and I want him involved somehow lol If only he wasn't so bite happy...lol

Hi,

I got my PPR and RPRF request on march 11. Paid the fees the same day and sent the passport on march 16th. Yesterday I got an email from the visa office saying " This is to confirm that RPR Fee was received and file is awaiting final review". Does anybody know what final review mean? And normally how long it takes for them to issue the visa at this stage?.

Hi Scorpion. It really depends on your Visa office. I'm not sure how Nairobi works. I would guess that this is the point in the process where they're looking over your application, and the next news you will have from them is "Decision Made", since they already have your passport. I really don't know how long that will take for your particular office.

hey, has anyone gotten any more initial assessment letters from buffalo recently?? :

As far as I know, we've had 4 IA letters from Buffalo so far. They are as follows:

KazInAz 3/11
quakingaspen 3/29
Cindy1 3/25
FleetingDasein 3/25

Would be good to see the rest of our AOR's, a few more IA's, and several more move to "In Process".
