Pretty much, I haven't taking anything out of the return envelope (not even my passport!) I'm just going to ride with it all in the UHaul and hand them the envelope!!

Where will you be landing? My husband and I are hoping he will land in a week. I'll post when we have the exact date. :3

Hi .

Would u plz tell me what sort of proof u sent along with ur application to proof ur relatuionship genuine? R u married or in a common-law relationship? I have sent in total 15 photos of my wedding, reception, gaye holud, and engagement with fb amd email msgs but those were written in our native laguage. Will that be a problem that we didnt made translation of those messages? Beacuse we thought that real one will be better rather than making any translation. We sent our wedding card also.


My wife is staying with me so i had to sent an acceptance letter from her college to proof that she will be going with me when i get visa. In addition I said that her parents already staying in Canada so they will arrange a flat for us so that we can stay. Point to be noted is my wife is a naturalized canadian citizen for 15 years. She stayed in bangladesh for last 6 years from 2002 to 2008 with her parents and then she along withe her parents and brothers went to canada to resume their status in Canada. And in 2010 may she again came to Bangladesh to marry me and since then she is staying there with me. Will that be any problem because of her staying 6 years in Bangladesh? We said we dont want to continue any long distance relationship so she will be staying with me until my visa is issued. We had 2 years relation before getting married.

my husband just got his passport with the best sticker on it Finally, the long wait is over :-*
Dunno when he will be leaving for canada but i hope he will not become insane before coming here! He's so paranoid that he put the pport with visa and other docs in a big empty can of biscuits, afraid that fire will ruin our long wait ;D

To those who are still waiting for PPR/VISA, i hope you all get it soon! very very soon! Congrats to those who already made it and landed!-welcome to canada!

Way to go Spiro..congradz for sure. Im still here waiting, stopped thinkin about it! Instead im going to visit hubby over Christmas..at least tht helps me ignore everythin for now. All the best in the future

We're still waiting

I'm down with my hubby in LA right now. We'll be driving a uhaul up to Washington later this week and putting his stuff into storage just south of the border. Then he's coming across to visit for a few months while the application is still being processed (*fingers crossed*). He's out in his dad's garage right now going through all his child hood toys and memories. I'd be out there helping but everything would end up in the garbage bag

I wouldn't be so paranoid of crozzing the border if we'd just get the PPR. I hate how long this is taking, seems everyone else in August is just zipping through.

Decision Made on eCas!! Husband's passport was shipped back today, so we should get it tomorrow. We sent a prepaid envelope for next day delivery (cost me $70 for shipment back and forth!).

We'll be driving to the border on Friday to land!! <3

When you have sent your passport and its changes to decision made, has anyone elses said:

'A decision has been made on ######## #####'s application. The office will contact ####### ##### concerning this decision'

is this just a generic response to say the passport is on its way back?

That was a generic message, mine says the same thing. You should receive your passport back with the visa stamp/sticker and be ready to land soon. Congrats!
