What's the status of your background check? Mine is Not applicable.

"Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Basically it's sat at the same thing for months.

Update from me: Got our AOR2 April 12th and it turns out the app will be at the Ottawa VO (that surprised me). ECAS updated on April 22nd. We booked a flight and plan to declare dual intent in late June. [Background info: Outland, spousal. New forms. Meds done upfront. Schedule A and PCCs sent when requested. App received: Feb 8th. SA March 20th.]

I was going to ask the same. I was requested my passport and it reached them yesterday. Anyone here has any idea how fast they process things and return your passport.

We got a request for a letter stating that my partner's son was excluded from our application. We already submitted it 6 months ago, but have done it again. Hopefully this is the last thing CIC wants before we get a visa.

Pls I would like to if your background check changed from not applicable to we are processing your background check after receiving your PPR.

This happened to application after receiving PPR on he 10th of May, 2017.

I'm also a Quebec PNP currently PR in Australia.

I appreciate your urgent response.

You're right! after I got PPR on 11th of May. My Background check status changed from Not Applicable to "We are processing your background check" And others said that it will say " Complete" when they give back passport with visa and COPR.. Goodluck to you my dear!

I started CSQ application in February 2011 and got nomination after several documents request letters and higher french language result, in October 2015.

I filed visa application in March 2016 and was called for interview in Sydney in May, but couldn't attend May interview. I attended interview in August 2016 and got medical request the following day after interview.

I did medical in September 2016 and got PPR in May 2017.

What a journey!!!
