Mr Moose: when you got SA, did CIC include in your SA letter that they were sending off your app to the Sydney VO? Also, did you receive any A0R2?

Yes they did state that my application had been sent to Sydney VO. It is only now when I check the application via the CIC website (I don't yet have a CIC account), that it tells me they started processing my application on February 23rd.

I'm not sure what AOR2 is. Is that when Sydney write to say they have received it?

Just to share, I received my AOR2/FT on 22 March, same email like the first AOR except the address in the bottom changed to Consulate General of Canada Visa Section Level 5 Quay West Building Sydney NSW 2000 Australia

I'm just wondering what the average timeframe people have had recently when sending their passport copy and pictures to Sydney? I'm sending mine off today awaiting COPR.

Hi Emily, Did you get your COPR paperwork back yet? Ours processed through Sydney very quickly, just over a week turnaround time from when I mailed passport photocopies and pictures to when I received COPR back. Hoping yours was/is quick too!

Hi, that's excellent to hear! I ended up getting it transferred to Rome to process as it's closer. I'm still waiting

We received the same letters. And we both like the same category. Youre under PNP and I'm under Quebec skilled worker. When did they start processing your file? Me The file transfer is the same date they started processing my file as per ecas. Hope we hear Medical Request soon.

Hello, in ecas shows they send aor 1 mar and 2 mar start processing my app then 22 mar for ft/aor2. But the ft doesnt show in ecas. Just three lines for now, the app when they receive my app, when did they my aor and last when did they start to process. . Pls update us if you receive the Med request. Are you currently in australia?

Hi Angel I currently live in NZ. Been waiting for Med Request for more than 3 months now since my File transfer to australia VO. So frustrating. Let's keep posted!

Okay. Thank you. I just got one sentence telling me I was approved to sponsor. Was hoping we would get some direction as to where it was going.

Yes, the AOR2 is when the visa office it is sent to contacts you to tell you they have received your application for processing.

3 months and 1 week after they started processing my file. (Aor2)
I received my Medical Request through GCKEY. I'll do my MR next week.

Hi Angel I did it 2 days ago. They did a Physical exam, chest xray and bloodtest. It's pretty straightforward and it went well. I hope for the COPR soon!
