I got Decision Made before PPR, it was 5 odd days later i think

yep I got DM before PPR and PPR was also about 5 days after :)

I just went online and status is "in process". Am I closer to the decision made thing or am I going to have to wait longer? Any ideas? Thanks

I checked on the 14th and it had started processing on 10th and it was already decision made. So probably not long to wait. Although I haven't heard anything since then.

Thanks for the info! I'm just super anxious..

Received PPR!

Question: The letter states to photocopy ALL pages in the passport. Does this mean I have to photocopy each and every page, including those that are blank (e.g., pages with no stamps)? The blank pages do show a background graphic which is a part of the passport (they aren't white pages) but they aren't numbered in any way. If I do photocopy them, they would all look the same.

yes every single page :)

Hi,
We are thinking of applying through SYD office for family class.
Does anyone know how long is the PR expiry date on the visa? so how many months would we have before our PR will expire unless we enter CA? ( we are still torn between leaving Syd and moving to CA...it's been 9 years here!!)

Also we might JUST enter CA before our PR expires to validate it and then come back to SYD again for a while. So do you know if we do come back to SYD after validating the PR at CA, how long can we stay in SYD before we have to go back to CA?
Many thanks and not looking forward to next few months gathering millions of docs for the application process.

1. Your permanent resident visa will expire one year after the date of your medical examinations. If your passport or the passports of your spouse or dependent children (if applicable) expire on an earlier date, the visa will expire on the earlier date.

2. A permanent resident must live in Canada for two years out of every five, or risk losing that status.

PPR details mailed yesterday and received today according to Canada Post.

Now waiting for COPR ... 8)

Hi Flatblack,

Did they ask for your passport or just a copy of all the pages? I've just received the letter requesting for photos, copy of passport, and updated info chart, which I will send tomorrow by express post.

On the updated information chart, do I put down my spouses details? My spouse is my sponsor. To me the letter reads that I should only add any dependents, which my husband is not?

Kiwi123 have you received this letter yet asking for these things?

Basically this means that once I send in all this stuff, they will then send me the COPR? So I never actually have to send my passport.

Passport copy - every page.

Only your details needed.

Hello All,
My hubby just got an email for interview. Did anyone has any clue what they ask at Sydney Office??
:-(
