hi anybody on this forum applied from pakistan and got ne good news?

Hello,

I have been reading your threads...may I ask if there were particular reasons your file was held up so long? My husband's file is currently in process in Caracas. They started processing it on July 30th 2010. I am trying to see people's experience and get an idea how long I should be expecting to wait. I am also in Montreal....hoping to have him here by Jan :)

Hi gatita who are you asking these question?

We are all here to share experiences and learn from one another no? If someone does not want to answer...they don't.

Has anyone ever received letter called:CASE STATUS/ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS REQUIRED?

Its is stated that good conduct certificate(or certificate of no criminal record) of each family member is required.

Does this apply even if they are not to accmpany my spouse,or does it only apply to her as only person beeing sponsored on Application.

Ps*This letter came after interview and 2nd medical test which we sent back to Visa Office.
-I am asking because at some past stages of the sponsorship, similar requirements came, but in those cases it only included my spouse, since it is not stated (if it concerns only the people beeing sponsored),i know we should just do as told and follow their requests, but i dont want to give a hassle to my in-laws if in case, theirs dont happen to be included in their request. Thank u!

Hello everybody...

I'm so happy to know that many of you have their visas already and many are now here in Canada =)

Unfortunely, I'm still waiting. We haven't heard a single thing from the Embassy in Caracas. We'll hit the 8-month mark on August 4th and it's been 10 month away from my wife. I can't go there because I have to renew my permanent resident card. Things in Venezuela are getting worst every minute. Violence, political tension. It's horrible to think my wife is there and that I can't be with her. :(

From what I've read, in Caracas the PR are been processed in 9-10 months. If that is truth, we have to hold on for a couple on months more. Like I always say to my wife: "we have to think that in the end, this is going to be a little sacrifice compared to the life of opportunities and happiness we'll have here"

Once again, Congratulations to everyone with their shinny Visas in their passport ;D
Good luck to everyone still waiting for news!! Patience, just patience...

Pablo

What happen with your case?????
