Congrats everyone!

We're still waiting to get my husband's passport back. :D

congrats to everyone!
I'm still waiting.....

Congrats to all who have got the passport request, and best of luck to those who are waiting including me :(

Here is my application detail:

Sponsorship approved: Sept 15, 2009
File transferred to Buffalo: Sept 30, 2009
AOR Buffalo:Oct 15, 2009
Online status: In process, started processing on Nov 3, 2009

I dont know why they are delaying, have sent them email. Got the reply that we will process your application in the order it was received.
I am on student visa here in US which is expiring on May 2010, as will be completing my masters in May. Very anxious about the case? Just 3 more months of stay in US.

Thoughts, comments????

Thanks

Passport with visa in it RECEIVED!

EEEP! We're booking his flight today for March 25th. Wow. I can't believe this journey is about to come to an end, and so quickly at that.

I wish you all the best for quick and uneventful approvals!

Cheers :D

Hi Everyone,

I found this thread recently and realized I fit right in. It's incredibly helpful when you anticipate something so much. Especially when it seems like it's coming from the void.

I am sponsoring my US common law partner and we are waiting to hear back from New York.

Good luck to all.

welcome to the thread zaubroe! :)

my application was just recently transferred to new york... and i am patiently waiting to hear from them too!

my husband received another AOR today... this time from New York saying that they will complete the analysis of the application and determine if a personal interview with the visa officer is required. eeek!! hopefully the "analysis" goes well... that there isn't an interview needed!! i faxed ottawa today asking them to send the medicals off to new york... but, haven't heard back from them at all. oh goodness.

Glad to hear slowly everybody is getting news back. My husband got his passport back today with the visa stamp in it so now we just need to buy the plane ticket and make preparations to move!

Good luck to those who have yet to hear something back. Your time will come soon, I'm sure :)

I got PPR and sent my passport the same day. Its been 7 days after PPR but still my e-cas status says.. "File Transferred to Detroit". Nothing about approved or PPR Letter sent. Shall I worry about the e-cas status?

YAY Congrats Catchvb

Our e-cas didnt update till about a week after we got the PPR... I wouldnt worry about it at all. The most important part happened!

i wish that i was in your situation catchvb!! a passport request would be so wonderful!! like fallenstar said... the most important part happened!! :)

@ritosgirl I have a feeling you will get it very soon you will be in the same situation :-) Thanks Fallenstar.
