Wow! Everyone has been getting good news. I wish I'd get some soon, but I think Egypt takes longer....so I'll be waiting and waiting....and waiting. I'm so glad to hear all the good news though. HAPPY FOR ALL OF YOU.

I was thinking about you when we got our PPR on Friday... our timelines are identical, almost to the day. best luck to the both of oyu in the furture!

Haha I know! Best of luck to you both, too. Perhaps we can keep in touch when we all move to Canada, as we won't be that far from each other (we're moving to Toronto)

Woohoo! eCAS was slow today so I figured they were updating the application statuses and I was right! We now have "Decision Made" under my husband's name and they wrote that they got the medicals and reached a decision and all that. Still no news on if his passport has reached London (can't see much on the track & trace yet) but I'm sure it will in the next couple of days and we'll get it back soon

SO relieved we don't have to go for an interview. It would be nice in a way because I'd get to see my family (who all still live over there) but we really just can't afford it right now. Every spare dime is going into our savings because our moving month is May!

Anyone else get news from the update today?

Ours was updated today as well! Decision made!

My husband sent his passport and photos today, they will be there tomorrow by 1pm. Very excited

Any idea how much time it takes to get the initial review done by Visa office after AOR ..specially Buffalo..?

Great news on our end! My wife got her passport back with Visa stamped.

Nov 17,2009: Application Received at CPC, Mississauga
Dec 09,2009: Application Processed and Decision made
Dec 16,2009: Sponsorship Approval Mail Received
Dec 16,2009: Application Received at Buffalo Immgration Office
Dec 24,2009: Application returned from Buffalo Immigration office(due to lack of US presence documents)
Jan 02,2010: Application Resent to Buffalo Office(with US Presence Proof Papers)
Jan 08,2010: Immigration Application In Process
Jan 21,2010: FBI "No Record" Letter Requested(Even though we provided one)
Jan 27,2010: Immigration Application back in Process(After we sent the Photocopy of FBI "No Record" Letter)
Jan 29,2010: Passport Request(PPR) from Buffalo office by email
Feb 01,2010: Passport Received at the Consulate(Next day USPS)
Feb 10,2010: Got Passport back with Visa Stamped

I received an email from Buffalo Stating file transferred to Detroit. Anyone having any idea about Detroit processing time.?

Submitted my wife's Passport yesterday. Luckily the Korean government rushed all their work for us, so she got her expat-passport in 3 days instead of 2 weeks.. ;D
