Hi, my wife's sponsorship for me was processed and decision made on the same day. I would take that they have made a decision so quickly means that there was no problems and it all went through fine. I would think if there was a problem, they would ask for more information or something, and thus it would take longer.

Stay strong, I am sure your result will be positive.

I Believe they only update on a Monday, so the best day to check is Tuesday.

actually recently they have started updating ecas on daily basis! that's really good improvement!

Don't worry, they only started processing on the 10th which was a Thursday and then they only had Fri before the weekend - two days isn't unusual! Maybe it's just because they're going to ask you for more documents or your case isn't as "straightforward" as some of the others on here who get processed & accepted in a day (which isn't everyone!)

Edit: At least you know they have your application, sulo We sent ours over almost 6 weeks ago and we've not heard absolutely anything. We don't even know if they've received it. We check e-cas every day but there is NOTHING, day after day *sigh*

When should I start calling them to see if they even received the application? Because if it got lost in the mail, we need to get it sent off again asap.

i wonder why my wife sponsorship application is still "in process" its taking too long

my wife sent our application and missasauga recieved it on November 06, 2009

and the status on sponsorship changed to "in process" November 27, 2009

and up to now December 14, 2009 still "in process" it is more than a month now and still no decision made...

is it normal or should my wife in vancouver call to missasauga to follow it up?

does anybody now the number so she can call to missasauga?

does anybody here know the mississauga hotline or phone number? so my wife can inquire about our application...

because its more than 1 month now Dec 14... since they recieve the application Nov 06 and up to now still no "decision made" the status is still "in process"... they start processing the application Nov. 27

Decision Made. But no message if it was approved or not? I am waiting for letter.
Just wondering how long Buffalo takes to process after CPC-M?

Another working day at CIC over, still no word on e-CAS - you can't tell me that something isn't wrong! They should have gotten it November 16th at the latest and there's people who had their applications arrive well into the 20s of November who have now been accepted to sponsor and their apps passed on to their VO.

I tried calling the 1-888 number listed on their website earlier today, to see if they could just confirm or deny that they had even received our application, but it won't let me call from outside Canada. Is there any other number I can reach them on?
