oh i see, ok so i guess im not gonna receive it till sometime next week.

pisces17 and furkan, I'm not sure how long it will take to reach you folks but in my case the letter was dated Aug 24 and I received it today. Maybe it depends on where you folks live?
I'm in North York which is part of GTA so I knew that once mailed from Mississauga, the letter would reach me in a couple of days max. If you live further out or maybe in a different province then it might take longer.

I know that for my car insurance based out of Newfoundland it took me more than 10 days to receive a letter from them. So don't worry :) That's canada post for you!

Hello DestinationBC , It is for my wife and she had her medicals done in mid May , applying form New Delhi they can get their medicals done before sending her applications .

DestinationBC I just saw your previous posts and looks like you applied as a skilled worker , I believe your process is different as for sponsoring a spouse. I guess you have to wait for a letter for medical , whereas for spousal sponsorship you have to get the medicals done before you submit your application . Good Luck

Kal

Thanks for the info

I have applied under skilled applicant and my documents are at CHC new Delhi for the past 7 weeks and I am waiting Medicals

The info I was Seeking from you was for by First cousin who is in saskatoon and is sponsoring wife. We are going to start the process for her now.

trying to gather info for her.

Thanks

Hello all

I got my notification from the ECAS tracker today! Letter sent Aug 24 (application was received July 26). Ridiculously excited and hoping the quick turn around keeps going...

Especially excited as I just received an email from a friend who had applied through London and it took only 2 months for their entire approval process!!! She AND her common-law partner are approved in 2 months now just have to send in the passport. Obviously shouldn't be counting on that kind of speed but gives us all a little hope (or just makes it more frustrating when our's drags out forever.... depending how you look at it)
