Well I still have 6 more months to wait for AIP. The in process part of inland application just means it is finally opened and they are now starting to work on it. Most people were taking 2 months and 2 weeks but ours took 2 months and 6 days for them to start working on. I am still happy that it took less time. And no worries, I already submitted an open work permit with the actual application submission. I am currently on implied status because of it. Our next hurdle will be first stage approval and then actually landing as a PR. Well until then I will take what I can get and celebrate even this little step. At least it is a step closer to being together forever.kalew2010 said:Congrats! That is exciting news...I think it means now that it's in process you can apply for an open work permit. That's a lot faster to get "in process" than was listed on the website, that's great
Oh and thank you so much for being excited with me. I appreciate that.
