Thread for Applications Sent in JUNE 2010

Hmm.. I think they sent ours to Ottawa. I remember freaking out because I thought they were to be sent to Mississauga but upon researching in the forums I figured out that Ottawa was right. We had some DMP issues though so I hope this means the form I sent them was fine..

I hope it all works out for you! I also read something that it can take a while for the medical results to be available. We did ours at the beginning of the year so maybe that's why they were ready so fast.

Canada post now shows my passport is In ENGLAND...It should be delivered to the Canadian High Commission in London tomorrow ;D I am so excited to see that my passport will soon joint the Queue for PR Visas affixed to passports...and hopefully soon back in my hands

Guys,
I want to share with you some news.
Today I managed to Call centre. I wanted to check my status and inform them about my new phone number.

I've applied papers at the end of June and only one thing I know that UPS site says that they received it.
So the lady said that they didn't find my name or any ID info and it means that they probably didn't open the envelope so far and recommend me to call back in one month to check status and provide them with new number. But they also mentioned that they usually use email.

So here we are.
Wait, pray and hope!

do you mean you have sent your file to CIC MISSISSAUGA?is it an outland or inland application?
my file is there since 18th june and still nothing,,,my wife(the sponsor) keeps calling them,and nothing,they dont know anything,,they only say,they can see it been received,but it's really weird
im from morocco,and my wife is in canada

@ britincanada, really? That quick? I was preparing to wait atleast 6 months! But hopefully it's as fast as yours!

@ Poetic - Unless there is a reason for you to have an interview its likely that you could be processed within a month or 2..I have seen lots of people going through London with fast time lines recently, I know somebody that got PPR after being in process for only 3 weeks! And they applied common-law!
