Congrats Lynw, I am still waiting for my passport to get to London..we couldnt afford FEDEX and had to send it Registered post with Canada post, should be there by Friday...only 4 days to wait I figured it was safe as its how CHC-London returns them to you!! I hate my passport being out of my sight.. I photocopied it before I sent it as its the only ID I have!! And cost me almost $300 from the British Embassy in the USA! I would hate to have to buy a new one..good job they are valid for 10 years!

I used Canada Post too - those courier companies are a nightmare to deal with. Don't mention UPS, argh! I've found post, even parcel post, between Canada and Australia/NZ to be fast so far.

It would be really nice if they emailed a tracking number for the passport's return trip....

And what really sucks is we got an OSTB payment (Ontario Sales Tax Benefit) deposited into our Bank Account the next day!! Had I known we were getting it I would have sent it as fast as possible! But I have sent things to England on a Friday and they have got to England by the next Wednesday!!

I did - apparently that was the only way to get door to door tracking, and it wasn't so much different in price. I just want it back pronto, hate the feeling that I couldn't hop on a plane at a moment's notice in case of emergency.

Thank you Lynw It should be at CHC-London by Wednesday or Thursday...I have had mail go to England exceptionally fast before every year at Christmas the Cut off date for guaranteed mail to the UK is around December 3rd..one year I mailed a Card to my brother the week before Christmas and he got it within 4 days...hows that for service?? I almost had a panic attack earlier..I remembered the woman in the post office saying my passport could take 4-6 weeks to get there! So I checked the Canada post website and sure enough she quoted the length of time for Surface mail!! Thats why I called Canada post to check it went via Airmail!! Now I am thinking she may have meant my parcel to my dad!!

We just got changed to "In Process" on ECAS today! Hopefully that means our application won't get returned to us and when I get a letter from Buffalo I can send them our green medical form. Ahhh so paranoid but so thankful to at least get an update!

Everyone that has had a change on their E-CAS check that your address is still there..I had an email from Matthew Carroll to say CIC has been removing a lot of addresses!! I wonder why this is!

My E-CAS changed to Medical results received and Decision made..My address has also gone!! Not sure if I should contact CIC or no!

OMG! Our e-cas changed! They've started processing my husband's application on August 27th! YAY!
