Thread for Applications Sent in JUNE 2010

can anybody tell me what we should do please,,,,we sent our application on june,it got received at 18th june at mississauga,and since then no answer,nor reply,no letter,and we can't check it online,it always says the same,unvailable,,,my wife keeps calling them,and those agents that answer on the phon keep saying the same thing,that they dont know anything,they just can see it being received,but they dont know more,,,
please,i need help,i do have to do something,but please,dont say call them,because as i said,we kept calling them,and we get the same answer,those agents dont know anything,,and it has been over then 2 months that our application is there,,,,

Congratulations lynw, canadaireland, and especially britincanada! What would we do without you maintaining and updating our June chart?!? Actually, that chart is starting to look a lot more filled in. I am very happy for all of us, and I hope that the people later down in the month or in nations that are not linked up to Canada like Great Britian, Ireland, Australia, etc. will soon be hearing very good news.

Jancath410--I used my sponsor's client number to pull up the information on my immigration status. I still have not gotten our Acknowledgment of Receipt letter in the mail, however. That will evidently be the next step.

Good luck to everyone. There is a lot of progress being made. The first American from May received her Passport Request, and it was only ten days after being "in process". Wouldn't that be nice to have happen to all of us?

I just received my first cheque from Canada Revenue Agency for Universal Child Care Benefit in MY name with MY Tax number on it..I know its for our daughter but makes me feel like I have an Income for the first time in 2 years..last time I had any money that I was entitled to or earned was in 2008 for 6 months..so nice to have something in MY name instead of Tim's name...I still can't believe things are finally happening for the better....

Ceegee...I will stick around after I get my Passport back and Land to update the chart and help others through their process...I have decided the career I wish to pursue is to become an Immigration Officer and help other people get re-united with their spouse..I feel as if CIC has dealt with me fairly and efficiently these past 5 years and I want to help people and give them the same experience I have had.. ;D

DEAR ALL ... i received PPR on 27Aug2010 and i couriered them my PP today(30Aug2010) and hopefully it will reach them by tomorrow.

i have sent my PP to the below address:

Now my waiting started for my passport back with visa ..
by god's grace everything has moved smoothly and in-time till today and i hope this too will move smoothly without any delays.. i wish everybody here waiting for their visas to get their visa very soon and join their better halfs very soon ..

i am just waiting to join my husband and want to have nice celebrations with him ... GOD GOD GOD ... PLS PLS PLS .. give us visa soon ....

hey good to see u here tht too with a very minimal gap between our dates ...
i actually sent it through blue dart where we can track our pp with the tracking num they give.
mine will be delivered by tomorow before 10.30 am.

hmm I send it through Speed Post.
It must have reached there . How much more time will it take to get the response from immigration office.

Tiny update: my passport is now at the Sydney office, hopefully for a stamp and a speedy return. I hate having it out of my sight!

Congrats Lynw, I am still waiting for my passport to get to London..we couldnt afford FEDEX and had to send it Registered post with Canada post, should be there by Friday...only 4 days to wait I figured it was safe as its how CHC-London returns them to you!! I hate my passport being out of my sight.. I photocopied it before I sent it as its the only ID I have!! And cost me almost $300 from the British Embassy in the USA! I would hate to have to buy a new one..good job they are valid for 10 years!
