Does your status on ECaS say "Unavailable"? I think that's what makes me uneasy. I want it to be available! :'(

No mine says "in process" I have noticed that Buffalo applicants are having to wait for about 1 month before CHC-Buffalo creates a case file for applicants. Try not to worry, its standard..I am sure you will have an update on E-Cas soon if not Tuesday the following one! Its horrible having to wait but just keep reminding yourself why your going through this process

My sponsorship approved is same date as yours. I still can't see my states on ecas with my sponsor's client number. I can login with my client number that I got when I applied for study permit. But, I can just login, still nothing there. I heard that some people processed in Buffalo are able to see "in process" when ecas say also "passport request"....

What do you use to log in to e-cas?

I am going through this same thing. I was able to login to ecase with sponsors info up until two weeks ago now. App was filled mid June, sponsorship approved one month later. Suddenly, no ecas access when we had it almost immediatly after filing. We are close to the fifth week now and no email aor nor paper aor. Of course I am stressed and a bit bummed. Moving into fall without my hubby is very challenging. I feel like I have aged double time in the process. It is disapointing how slow Bfl is and the comm out of that office. Even a blip from them would relieve me a ton.

After receiving an e-mail request 6 days ago, my wife received a physical letter from Beijing on Aug 23, requesting for her passport and other relevant material we think the Visa office would need. We will include some translated letters and chat logs (previously un-translated) in the same package, along with the passport.

Medical had to be done before sending in the application for Beijing, and it was done. Also, I paid for the Permanent Residency fee when I paid for the immigration application. So hopefully they will have everything to make a decision.

ITS BEEN 4 DAYS SINCE THEY STARTED PROCESSING .. WHN CN I EXPECT MY PPR??

GOD ... I AM HAPPY .. ND OFFICE IS PRETTY GOOD ... STARTED PROCESSING ON MY FILE EXACTLY 17DAYS AFTER MY SPONSORSHIP GOT APPROVED AND ECAS UPDATED EXACTLY ON 3RD TUESDAY ..

GODDDD ... WISH ME TO GET MY PPR SOON AND PP BACK WITH VISA ....

28th July - Decision made by CIC.
8th Aug - New Delhi Received our application
20th Aug- I got letter from CIC New Delhi asking for my Passport.
24th Aug - I mailed my passport to new Delhi.

Now fingers crossed.

Any Idea whts next??

hi deepak .. first of all CONGRATS for such a speedy process and my hearty wishes to get ur pp back with visa soon .. you have to wait for another 3-5wks to get ur pp with visa .. start packing up ur things ..

i am not sure whether they'll be calling u for an interview after PPR?? lets pray for waiving ur interview ..

my file was transferred on 03Aug and my appl'n started processing by ND on 20thAug and only today i could see my status changed from NA to IP.

I am very eagerly waiting for my PPR.

I am from Chennai. I know i have to consider postal delays too in getting my PPR.

i am very eager to know your place so that i'll calculate my time accordingly ... please share the same ifu don't mind ..

Hi, Thanks for ur wishes..
Postal delays are always there, so don't worry.

My wife is in canada and she applied from there to missisuaga office.
I'm in mumbai right now.

We are processed in london..and we were never contacted for anything at all..could this be a good sign?? or a horrible horrible sign?

I would try not to worry about it London is very fast at the moment..I am 1 1/2 months into the process and have a delay due to the fact I didnt pay RPRF with my initial fees..If I had paid them already I could have had my passport requested already..They could be asking you for one of 2 things;

- to schedule an interview in London

- it is possible that you could be getting a letter stating your interview has been waived and they want your passport!

I would be more inclined to think that your Passport is being requested
