britincanada: I've tried to login as sponsor with the receipt number, but couldn't login... I guess I just have to wait for the letter. Hopefully I'll get the letter this week!

Hi guys,
I've just noticed on ecas that they have totally spelt my surname wrong...I don't know how??? as they have a million forms with the correct spelling! Is there anything I can do at this stage before the file is transferred to Sydney or should I just wait it out and hopefully they'll correct it later???

I would just wait..then email them in a few weeks when your status shows "in process" if they have not amended your name probably just a typo

You are welcome They probably will, it was most likely just an error..most spelling mistakes with names are corrected by the IO when they open the case..

HI just a quick question... I can log in with my sponsor details and it says that PR is in process.. Will my partner im sponsoring be able to log in himself to see more?? Does he get a seperate client ID then the one i got on the sponsor approval letter?

Yes your husband will have a different Client Id and B-file number

Oh, thats weird, maybe your not on E-cas yet or something was spelt wrong by Mississauga?

Britincanada, have you received any notice from CHC-London about them having received your medicals? I am just wondering because it just says on our eTRAC that 'we've begun processing on XXX" but nothing else. We did submit the copy from the doctor with our application, so I would hope there's no problem...

No there is nothing about my medicals it just says.."We started processing your application on July 15 2010" I don't think they receive your medicals until they have finished the initial assessment on your relationship and about to request your passport..

I'm a June applicant too! Just received notice that my package is going to be forwarded to the Sydney office in Australia. YAY. Fingers crossed that I remembered everything! Goodluck everyone.

Good Luck Sydney has a similar processing time to London
