Hi Demonardae, I'm no expert, but I'd call the medical office where you did the medical to let them know right away- they will send the form pretty soon. You should have the other half of that copy IMM1017 which you include in your application yourself (to send to buffalo). Goodluck

Actually depends a lot on how you applied also. Inland or outland and what kind of sponsoring. Plus what country you're from etc. Pharohs timeline is correct if you're applying Outland with a spouse/common law partner. Mostly you just wait ;)...

I am in Canada and I applied Outland which was much faster PLUS I needed to leave he country at one point so I had to. It is a good choice. Like I said - goodluck!

You do need to leave the country and then 'land' for your PR to be activated. You can do it by flag-poling in the US though. Just drive down to the border and come right back. So long as you have no problems with entering the US. Goodluck! :)

Grr, I got a letter requesting more documents 2 weeks ago (sent them off right away) and now ANOTHER letter requesting MORE documents. So frustrating and time consuming... They're now asking me for a Vic Roads driving history but I've never lived in Victoria so Vic roads won't issue me...
