I'm a June applicant too! Just received notice that my package is going to be forwarded to the Sydney office in Australia. YAY. Fingers crossed that I remembered everything! Goodluck everyone.

Now that my wife's application has been sent to Beijing, does someone know what type of correspondence she can expect from Beijing? They asked for a few return address labels (in Chinese). So I suppose they will send a letter. Does someone know whether it will be a AOR letter or will it likely ask for the passport?

I just checked the letter box and ....woo hoo..the official letter has arrived to say sponsorship is approved dated 29th July. So excited!!They were much quicker than the 43 days on the CIC website!

just out of curiosity i would like to know whether u were able to see ur status in e-cas before getting ur letter ???
bkz mine is 1 day next to yours and till today my husband details are not able to identify by ecas ...

my hubby was able to see before the actual letter. like a few days before it came in mail.

I wonder what the date updated on the website indicates then.
PErhaps it's the date they've updated ECAS as far as?
I know your in the July thread too galmxcan - I wonder if it's just the way the files fell... for lack of a better word - were distributed and piled, ect.

The website says they are currently on applications received up to July 2...so I should be in that group. Since I sent my application very close to a the Long weekend I do agree with you and maybe it has something to do on the way the "files fell" - they piled the files...it could be.
Technically its been 35ish days since the application was sent and the website mentions 42days processing time.

I will keep you all posted (June and July´s thread)

hello friends ...

A Good news from my side .. my husband is able to login into ecas and is showing Decision Made. Thank God ...

i am stil little bit tensed till my husband receives the sponsorship letter ..

i have a little doubt .. there are 2 addresses mentioned in ecas one is current home address and other is current mailing address ...
current home address shows his present address and mailing address shows the address which he mentioned during his PR card process...

my husband didn't mention the mailing address being shown in ecas anywhere in the application but they have taken from his PR records ...

Now my doubt is whether they will send the Sponsorship approval letter to the Current Home Address or to the Current Mailing Address??
