Thread for applications sent December 2009!!!

I see that there's a thread for each month but december, so here it is. ha!

sent our application september 27 and it was then returned to us because we forgot to answer one question, yes, one question! (which was a little confusing because we thought it didn't apply to us)

anyway, we sent our application december 1st.
arrived on the 2nd.
decision made by the 7th.
letter received on the 12th saying that our application had been approved and forwarded to buffalo for processing!

and now we're just waiting ;D

Wow, that's really fast for the sponsorship letter to arrive. We'll be sending my application out hopefully the beginning of Jan. Just need my FBI report sent to me and the medical done and to organize the papers and we'll be all set.

I know, right? I'm just trying to get a police certificate from Spain, but apparently I have to do it through my embassy (Mexico) which f-ing sucks!
They "work" four days a week, four hours a day...

I emailed "El Ministerio de Justicia" in Madrid, and they have replied to my email, just waiting on my embassy...

Trying to figure out if one of my friends could do all the paperwork for me, let's see.

I dont want buffalo to return my application just for that!!!!

hi rachel and miguelre do we have to fill out or put "not applicable" in question no. 12 member or association organization up to no.14 (on Scheduled 1). that was silly question but i need to know coz i dont wanna wait then they send it back just because of we missed some questions..

Hi Corofina, hi everyone!

Hope you all have the great timeline the fall 2009 applicants seem to be having, it's a really stressful wait but it's worth it! Corofina, we're going to Ottawa and we'll join the Ottawa German language conversation club (so that I can learn and my husband won't forget, and to make friends at our new home). They're a public Facebook group, if you're also settling (or passing through) Ottawa maybe we'll see you there.

Checked our application status and medical results have been received and it says 'in process'! Hopefully this is a good thing! Aghhhhh!!
