Mine was sent out on the 18th...but there is nothing on e case...i can t even log in

Still nothing from Mississauga to say sponsorship approved or that my application has been passed on to the London office - should I worry or is this pretty normal, considering Christmas has just been and gone? Has everyone else received something from Mississauga? I can't even check eCAS until I have something from them giving me a case number I presume...

Application sent: 1st Dec 09
Received by CIC Mississauga: 11th Dec 09
Medical done: 27th October 09

it's been only a month, i know it sucks not knowing anything about the application status. I'm just gonna say don't worry about it and give it another two weeks. I'm sure they have a bunch of other applications on top of ours.

good luck! ;D

I sent my application ( i am the sponsor ....I am sponsoring my partner as a common law partner) on Dec 7th...mississauga approuved on Dec 23rd and we received the letter on dec 31st.. letter of approuval where they asked us to send additional documents to Quebec (i live in montreal)...and they also sent the documents to rome...
we sent the quebec documents on jan 6th (reiceived on jan 7th)

someone can tell me how long is going to take the process in Montreal? I mean for the papers there??to have an answer?

Hi All, I am sponsoring my wife who lives in Morocco We got married in July 2009!
I would love to hear from anybody else who is sponsoring from Morocco and has either Nov, Dec or Jan Timlines

My timelines are as follows:

Dec 07th, 2009: Couriered application to Robert Speck address and it was received the next day. Cost me approx $13 but completely worth it from comfort of knowing that a person actually signed for it.
Dec. 08th, 2009: CIC Mis. received application
Jan. 05th, 2010: CIC-M approve application
Jan. 11th, 2010: Get a letter in the mail acknowleding they received, approved and will be forwarding my application to Rabat Visa offcie

Now the long wait begins...

Had my application returned this morning. They said I needed the original receipt for the medical I took - I must have misread it when it says 'Copy 2 of form IMM 1017' and thought it said 'copy OF'. They have also requested passport photos from me - which were definitely with the original application but they have clearly lost! They were in an envelope with all our details on so even if they'd come loose they would have been easily identifiable as part of my package...anyway, they've lost them and so now with the two things I'm delayed by a month and a half, which I'm pretty upset about.

It came back to me in rather chaotic order (I'd spent hours making it perfect and easy to navigate) but going through it I've noticed they've also removed my document checklist and the receipt for my payment somewhere along the line, so I'll reprint them to re-include.

Arrrggghhh!

Did you get application returned from CPC-M or Visa office?

From the CPC-M, so it really is back to square one. And guess what? I've just found my passport photos that were 'missing' - someone had tucked them inside the envelope with all the photos I supplied as evidence of our relationship. Sheesh. At least I don't have to have them re-done then!

midwifemia, I am very sorry to hear that. You must be pretty upset.

It worries me a little bit to hear that they treat the applications like that.

@midwifemia

I know it sucks but dont worry once you send it back to CPC-M now it will be approved in 7-10days. They must have given some label with the form. It happened with me . Once I sent back my application they approved in 3 days. So send it ASAP.

Worst part is after CPC-M forwards your application to the visa office there is no tracibility. So untill you hear from Visa office it is a black hole.
