one more qustion if you aware with that.
my ciitzenship test i did in march 11 they gave me RESIDENCE QUESTIONARE.
after that iam waiting.no responce.
my file is at stclaire.
can i contact judge??
or jus wait.
curious.
Hello !

You will not be informed of the result of the test unless you fail it. Suppose you pass the test, you will be asked to attend a ceremony and take the oath of citizenship. You will become a citizen of Canada after the ceremony. The ceremony usually takes place 1-3 months after your test.

If you happen to fail the test, you will be required to attend an interview of 15-30 minutes with a citizenship judge. The judge evaluates whether you have the necessary knowledge and language abilities to become a Canadian citizen. If you do not pass the interview, you can appeal to the Federal Court or start from the beginning and apply to take the test again.

You can contact Call centre @ 1-888-242‑2100

@Tamilian, not sure if i get this right...you did get your PPR? and sent your PP ?

In your timelines you say Interview waived, did you get communication for this or did you assume that since they sent you a PPR the interview was waived.

Just curious looking at your timelines and you want to land before Aug 15th...

Didn't mean to look negative or anything but its really important to stay "realistic" with ND than just being positive....

So, are you In Chennai and your Wife is in Toronto? what do you do and have you been to Canada before?

Hey Everyone,

Im a newbie to this thread. Here is hoping all our applications are processd very soon!

so my wife landed today

India (mumbai) Airport:

Immigration officer asked for Police Clearance when leaving. She didn't have one, but they where satisfied when she showed the marriage certificate. Why would India airport want to see a police clearance

Canada (Calgary) Airport
No issues - The immigration officer was impressed she had filled out the B4 and B4A form and had pictures and a excel spreadsheet of the jewelry. Immigration officer said it made her life easier.

Followed instructions on this forum for the B4 and B4A form

Nope you do not have to fill any B4, the officer will do it for u. Just give him a $# amount of goods entering the country and what will accompany later...in my case she had nothing accompanying later and told the officer the value of gold and goods were around 4000$.

Just bring ur PP, Visa and COPR. That's all you need.
