k, so i'll let my husband know to be prepared. Also, the address on the COPR form is different than where we live now. I don't know how but they put my old address on there. Is this something my husband should address? and when you say they will send the PR card to the address provided, don't we need to apply for a PR card? cause my brother's wife had to apply for one.

Yes, the IO will ask him to confirm the mailing address of the PR card. Ask your hubby to give your correct address in Canada. This is not an issue.

nope...she didnt receive it yet....she landed on july 1st....so she probably has to wait for anothing couple of weeks...

u r not covered for 3 months...and then u will probably get it within 2 weeks in mail...

so, she didn't need to apply for another PR card? then why did the peroson she spoke to asked her to apply for it? this is not making any sense. It makes it hard because her English is not really strong, and the government official doesn't want speak to anyone but her. So, do you think immigration will refund my brother his $50 for the PR card?

Yea, he paid all the fees, Plus a $50 fee for the PR card.

If you overpay they will 100% return the balance.
Just call the call center with the fee receipt.

so becasue of the address issue, it was ok to apply for PR card?

Thank you for saving me and my bro $50 each! Becasue I was gonna apply for my hubby's PR card after he came.
