I don't think he will... but Fprince when you do get the chance let us know how your wife's landing/immigration process went at the airport.

Thanks DNT, the flight was great and a return flight from India has never felt this short before You will be experiencing the same soon my friend, all our wishes are with you.

The landing in Calgary was kind of a mixed experience. We first went through a great lady at the normal official counter who just asked us a couple of standard questions, welcomed my wife and stamped our customs card and then directed us to Immigration. It must have taken all of 2 minutes at that counter.

After that we went through another nice lady at the Immigration counter, who once I told her my wife is landing, just took her Passport and COPR form from us and processed it. She asked no questions other than getting her to sign the form and confirming our address. The whole process took about 5 minutes.

We then went and collected our luggage and went through customs where we were directed inside. It is here we got a guy with an attitude who decided to give us a hard time. He went through opening and examining our luggage. He examined every bit and piece of thing he found, even things like ATM withdrawal receipts, visiting cards of people, cheque books, etc. which I found very strange and frustrating as I had to put everything back together from the disarrayed state he left them in when he was done. Thankfully he didn’t go through all the bags and was content with opening just a couple of them. But it still took us about 45 mins or so here before we were finally done.

All this while we were together, there was nowhere she had to go alone. Also, we were not asked to fill out any additional forms, other than the standard one every traveller has to fill out. We were not given a B4 form, even though we told them some of her stuff we will bring over the next time.

So how was the landing experience? What questions did they ask you at the airport? Were you able to stand right beside your wife while the IO was talking to her? More on this would be great

girl.. I was thinking the same, but I think they haven't even looked / opened my file yet, thats what my dil (heart) tells me... they haven't replied bak to both of the CSE yet, nor replied to the email.. and I think we'll wait until next Thursday / Friday then its gonna be the MP, as fprince mentioned you can tell MP about how they ignored your 2 CSE and EMAIL. (we both share the same MP)

If it is IPS that has lost the letter, or ND just being lazy, either way you need to keep on their back so they know you have not received the PPR and looking for it desperately.

Thanks mirmukaramali. Your file has been received in ND on May 30, so it has only been 3 weeks the file has been in ND. So your wife should be receiving the PPR soon, normally people receive it within 4-6 weeks but sometimes it may take longer. Don't get panicked ove eCAS as that may not update all the way until Visa is processed. All the best to you and your wife, hope you guys have a quick processing.

need to ask you couple questions about the process of spouse visa,
i live in toronto got married in feb 2011 in hyderabad,now iam back in toronto,
applied my wife papers in april they received on april 12th the i gotta letter of sponser approval it says forward your file to new delhi
then ECAS change to application received on 30th may for permanent resident then after that i dont see anything,how does this thing works wat happens next?more than 2 months my wife did not received any letter from delhi embassy.
please help.

I am so happy..excstatic!!
I have yet to hear from my husband about the interview he is from punjab so he is stil commuting back home lol. Ill probly let him sleep and rest up, but I will let you guys know for sure.
They asked me about the emails because my husband sent me poems which he found from the internet and some he wrote himself and said "your huisbands not that good at english and these seem perfect" I told her im not sure, he sent it to me, probly found it on the internet. Then she said ok.
She asked where we went for outtings, I named bunch of places, and I said we stayed in ludhiana at his pua's house. She asked me her name. I said I dont know I call her PUA-G/ she didnt ask me more about it after.

{ Make sure you remember for every trip you went on, who you went with, where you went, what you did } We went to Jalandhar a few times, and went to the Mulitiplex theatre and watched a couple movies on different occasisions. She asked me twice who all went, what movie we watched.

She asked me why I dont go to college, I told her I plan on doing designing, for future career. She asked why Im not doing it right now. I told her Im working and want to be settled down and make money to finance. She actually asked me " doesnt your father have money cant he paay for it " I told her yes he does ofcourse, but I want to do it myself I dont want to rely on my parents to pay for this. she said ok.


Ill keep thinking of stuff and tell you guys, Im excited to hear from husband!! Like i talked to him and everything, we just havent talked about the interview muc.

Personally I feel anyone who joins this forum, atleast our new delhi applicants, we are all genuine. we spend hoursw on this forum, helping each other out, and talking about our spouses.

I think Nylalisa's husband was from Punjab and he was already here roughly abt 2 weeks after his interview. So, it's not going to be long!!!
