We just found out my wife is six week pregnant..is this going to make any difference in our application? Will they ask us to do a re medical?

No, you do not need to let CIC know anything unless the child is born and has to be added to the application. Nor will CIC process your case with priority since she is pregnant.

You are in the last stage of processing and your visa can issued anytime, only thing i am wondering is - when does your medical expire?
Not sure if she can do one more medical as they will not permit a X-ray when the female is pregnant...or is there any number of weeks till she can do it...

I hope your Visa is issued soon based on the old medicals...hang on tight and avoid the re-medical at any cost.

Hi all,

My husband (sponsor) can't remember some of his previous addresses (Q8, Form IMM5540 E) & the dates of residence. Can we provide his official address instead? Or approximate times for his residential address? Should we provide a stat-dec stating its approximate/to the best of memory?

do it to the best of your memory as no one knows what they do for a BC verification check. NO HE CAN NOT GIVE HIS OFFICE ADDRESS AS RESIDENTIAL, that will be a flag.
Don't miss any address, just give them the closest dates...they do need last 10 years without blanks..if there is a blank they usually return the application.
My PR app in 2005 was returned to me just for that fact that i didn't account for first 3 months in Canada.

Thank you . She did her medicals on October last year. I am sure it should be good for one more year..right? I sent the details to my MP and they promised a response back within a week. Lets see what they have to say.ND is holding her passport for 4 Months now.

Good....you will be issued a Visa before October anyways, so you need not worry abt re-medicals my friend.
They will just issue the Visa based on her previous medicals and will have no clue that she is pregnant.

Hi, Everyone,

I'm really confused, and I'm hoping to find some answers. I have submitted application to sponsor my husband from India on March 9, 2011 and New Delhi received it on April 18/2011. My husband got a letter saying they want him to send his passport on June 14/2011 and also provide phone bills and photos of our outings after marriage. The thing is I had submitted my phone bills but it was missing 2 months of call logs because I was using a different phone to call my husband and hadn't received the phone bill for that phone when i had submitted my application. I had also submitted photos of our outings. The only thing is we didn't have a honeymoon because there were family weddings that we had to attend after our marriage. We did however go out after our engagement and these are the pictures that i had sent. I found couple of new ones and sent these along with the old one that I had submitted. Any thoughts on how the ND IO is going to be looking at this case?

I'm really scared they might reject our file because of my mistake. I didn't want to lie and say we had a honeymoon and submit our pre-wedding outings pictures, but now they asked for more proof because it seems like our relationship is not genuine. I really don't know what to do, and I'm really confused. Please shed some light on this situation. It will be really helpful!

need to ask you couple questions about the process of spouse visa,
i live in toronto got married in feb 2011 in hyderabad,now iam back in toronto,
applied my wife papers in april they received on april 12th the i gotta letter of sponser approval it says forward your file to new delhi
then ECAS change to application received on 30th may for permanent resident then after that i dont see anything,how does this thing works wat happens next?more than 2 months my wife did not received any letter from delhi embassy.
please help.

I was going to wait until morning... but I think everyone deserves to know...... some sort of movement on eCAS... and I want to share with you ALL my friends!!!

Today I was attending a function of where 17 students memorized the holy book (Quraan), and yes before I went I did go on the computer and checked my email and eCAS, and yes it showed samething it has been showing since Beg of April 2011... I knew I won't be able to go on the net after I've left the house... now I'm at the function... and this function started at around 2PM and didn't finish until 4:30PM (Sunday Jun 19 2011).. anyways one of the scholar who is the imam of the foundation (Islamic Foundation of Toronto) made an announcement... saying "Today what ever you will ask The All Mighty he will accept it" anyways.. the function is in session now......

To end the function there is the collective prayers (ask The All-Mighty for forgiveness, etc etc,.. and I said to The All-Mighty.. "Allah I'm seriously tired of this, please this time you listen and I really want to hear something good in the morning (Morning of India - Night of Toronto))..... (That's the prayers... and I made in my heart..)
