That's not bad, I just quickly checked the prices and I conclude, you did get a good deal, but I hope the holding time for KLM aren't gonna be more, total journey time seems like 34 hours for your return is that true?

Buy who cares about the return journey time when you know... your wife is with you :), I wish you all the best, and hope you two unite very soon.

I'm flying KLM, Calgary - Delhi, Depart May 21, Return Jun 5. My return ticket was $1380 and my wife's one way $1025. I could have booked online and saved $50 overall, but chose to use an agent instead. I also considered flying BA as their one way for my wife was cheaper, but then my return ticket with BA costed more, making the total cost similar. At the end KLM won.

Oh my Gujarati friend, I know there might be more, but so far its only us two who are from Gujarat in this thread, I hope they do something for us sooooooon!!!

Don't feel depressed, things will be good sooooon!!

From what I have seen in the past 4 weeks or so, eCAS has been really good, mostly people have seen an update on eCAS and then they've received the passport, and there are some who've gotten the passport back, but eCAS never updated.

It really depends on the induvidual....

I have also seen mix reports on when it gets updated, but mostly when its (Saturday Morning) in Toronto I see many people come and post and update to the eCAS, but there were odd 2-3 posts from few ppl who've got an update during the week...

In the end, "ITS THE NEW DELHI STANDARD" which NO one can figure out!!!

I am living in Canada and need to sponsor my family Back in my country...So please just have a look at my fee Calculations For One Adult (my Spouse) and 3 Dependent Children less then of age 6.

Right of Permanent Residence: 490$ Each member ( For spouse Only? Not for dependent Children?) Can i pay that at the time of Passport Request?

Sponsorship Application : (Per Application) 75$ ( Is that for my spouse only or for the kids too? with Kids it becomes 4 members)

Principle Applicant : 475$ (As above question)

A family member of the Principle Applicant (Less then 22yrs age) 150$ Each member =150*3=450

what is Total and what is exact amount ? Please help i am really mixed up at web site ........seniors please advise...May God bless you

If you pay the landing fee later there is a delay in process..so it is advisable to pay upfront.

Reg the landing fee for the dependent kids..i am not sure, anyone who sponsored a child? please advise.

I'm my self confused with the PR fees / but I think its only for main applicant:
So you've got it right:

Application Quantity Price(C$)/Unit Total(C$)
Immigration Applications for Persons Outside Canada
Permanent Residence
Right of Permanent Residence Fee 1 $490.00 $490.00
Family Class
Sponsorship application (per application) 1 $75.00 $75.00
Principal applicant 1 $475.00 $475.00
A family member of the principal applicant who is less than 22 years of age and is not a spouse or common-law partner
3 $150.00 $450.00
Total: $1490.00

Also I suggest you call the CIC directly: 1-888-242‑2100, I have no idea about the PR fees in regards tot he dependents of the applicant

All the best, also if you pay them too much, they usuall return the change in form of a cheque,

Also I do suggest you pay the PR fees RIGHT now else your application will be delayed, and a DELAY is something we can't afford, Its a good idea to pay all the fees right now.

So my wife called early this morning, she received her passport back with the visa. I'm so happy :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Visa was issued on May 5, passport posted on May 9 and my wife received on May 11.

And it indeed came via the old school "Registered Post".

As far as I understand, your calculation is corect and you should pay $1490 total. I don't think the Right of Permanent Residence fee applies to dependant children. However, to be sure, you should call CIC and confirm, they are fairly helpful if you can get through their phone system.

You should pay all the fees now, otherwise your application will be delayed by a couple of months when they ask for the fee later.
