Return is 24h 15min including wait time at Amsterdam. Although it really doesn't matter when I'm with my wife

This was the update I saw in ecas on May 9:

We received xxxxxx application for permanent residence on February 21, 2011.

We started processing xxxxxx application on May 5, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on xxxxxx application. The office will contact xxxxxx concerning this decision.

So my wife called early this morning, she received her passport back with the visa. I'm so happy

Visa was issued on May 5, passport posted on May 9 and my wife received on May 11.

And it indeed came via the old school "Registered Post".

btw....quick question...did ur wife changed her last name to ur last name in her pp?

Yup, she got her last name changed as well as my name added to her passport right after we got married. They issued her a new passport booklet with a new number.

That's great, it was pretty quick 2 days after it got posted, even though they've used the Registered Post, and not the Express.

Well so your wait for everything has come to an end, and you are on your way to securing the summer with wife Summer starts June 21 , but it feels like its already here....

Does this make a big diff? I've gotten my wife a new passport as well with my name on it, and plus added under the spousal area of the passport (last page)
