Yes that's true, but sometimes when you look at the stats, and see something similar in the data, it makes me wanna raise questions:

FebPR: Filed: Feb 18, 2011 - FileXfer: Mar 23 - FileRX: Apr 05 - PPR: Apr 15 2011 - Still waiting for VISA
gaganmaan4u: Filed: Mar 01, 2011 - FileXfer: Mar 29 - FileRX: Apr 05 - PPR: Apr 15 2011 - Still waiting for VISA
DNT2003: Filed: Feb 23, 2011 - FileXfer: Mar 23 - FileRX: Apr 05, 2011 --- NO PPR YET

That's all, and you are very right about comparing with other people, but it just came to my mind... :)

and I know good news are on the way for us.. its just this UNKNOWN date for our good news gets me...

DNT2003

Add my time-lines to this list and all doubts abt the way they work will be clear 8)

It seems my story with my lawyer is going to be a protracted one. First I was thinking the PPR letter will come to Toronto from New Delhi (easily 15 to 20 days). But luckily that did not happen. But my lawyer due to some reason did not send the original marriage photographs. He took the photocopies of it and send it with the file. I can't find the rationale behind it. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Today My wife got a letter from CHC-New Delhi for sending the original marriage and outing/post marriage photographs. They send the PPR letter on 15/APR/2011. Then I guess when they reviewed the file they could not see the original photographs. So they send the letter for original marriage photographs on 19/APR/2011.

My luck :( :( :( :( :(
You probably want to tell him you are not paying him in full! :)

I once read in some thread abt someone who contact the immigration minister's office about his case and they replied and looked into it.
I am considering the same course of action in a few days about my crazy delay :P

Thanks for posting these questions, they are definatley helpufl, and usually in every conversation I have with my wife, I tell her few things,

and randomly we role play, and I ask her questions as if I was the VO from ND, and she jokes with a me a lot.. and we both have a big laugh about it ...

for example...
What does your husband do? (Aapka husband kiya kaam karta hai?) = She Replied: "Mujhe Piyaar Karta Hai" (He loves me) LMAO hahahaha

I love my wife!!!!

ND is it time yet ???? show us some love.....

@ FebPR

i have never heard any lawyer doing this kind of thing...i mean u already spent the money on printing the original photographs and then ur lawyer sent the photocopies of the photographs....

and now ur spouse got the letter......i would suggest that send all the photographs to wife in email and tell her to print in color....and send them like 200-300 pics...so the package weighs like 2-3 kg...and speedpost to chc nd

keep us posted

all the best and good luck

He is a fu$king idiot..who photocopies photographs and sends them to CIC as proof?
Did you ask that Idiot why he came up with that great idea?

@ fprince

i agree...chc asks for originals photographs and he made the photocopies of the photographs...just to add little more delay in the case....

all the best and good luck :)

Holy crap, so you mean he sent BLACK AND WHITE? or atleast he took the time to make COLOUR copies?

But its not useful now, they've already asked for photographs, that means they weren't satisfied with the photo copies :S:S:S:S:S

your lawyer is an idiot... just like mine who made me wait for so many days before he picked up phone call, and then I was soo pissed by all his actions that I took that "kanoon" in my own hands.. meaning I decided to do everything my self no help from thirdparty business..

Thanks to CanadaVisa forums as this forum was far better than lawyers.. and they charge you an arm and a leg...
Khan Khokhar = 1400$ isn't that too much just for filling the forms basically.
