Charmz,
it looks unusual for a 4 month delay from PPR to Visa - is what ppl who applied in 2011 would say.
I have seen a few senior members apply in oct/sept get visa's recently...
i think due to the xmas holidays and everything ur file is just held up and now its all ready and will be to be sent out...
you metioned you sent an email, those lazy a$$'s need to be reminded..since u have...ull get it soon :-)

I bet that the lazy *** needs to be reminded..LOL

Hi Sank,

Congrats on the Interview Dr. Dave... You certainly have brought up a good discussion topic there.. I would not just attribute this to being "Lucky" as many call it.. I think and believe ND is doing a good job.. As you can see that they have issued so many visas in the last couple of weeks. People have received their PP with visa in less than 90 days...and this is not even the average time they have suggested..I think we should be happy with the way they have done their job.. I am sure they have protocols to follow and they are doing it... Its like saying "someone is not doing their job right" even without seeing or knowing how its done..which is a strong statement..

Yes.. the wait sucks.. but we dont have a choice...A case might be straightforward to you.. but it might not be to someone else.. We do not know the history of most of the folks here..if ND warrants further investigation they should have the right to do so...Good luck everyone.. I hope they continue to do the good work and issue you all with a visa ASAP.

@longprocedure

I called the 1-888... number for Canada BEFORE submitting the application. I wasn't aware of any forms when I was filling out the forms and my only source for information was the call center. They are VERY helpful. Some agents are not so knowledgeable so I had to call multiple times to get a satisfactory answer for some of my doubts/questions - and I had many.

I never called ND (you wouldn't be able to talk directly to a VO regarding your case anyway).

@Dr.Dave

An early interview date is a positive thing - that's great! Hope visa is issued right after the interview :)

@All

Since CHC-ND has such a thankless job in spite of being ultimately responsible for bringing our loved ones to us here in Canada, I'll be sending an e-mail to them shortly 'thanking' them for their hard work. At the very least, it will put them in a good mood and they will hopefully go through the cases a little bit faster!

@ nb8285

you said in ur last post that u made 30+ calls to CIC Call center. I have one question regarding that to which call center u made that much calls and they take ur call every time and provide u information which u asked them because ND never take any call and provide information to anybody...
