@ fprince

ur client id will be given to u by cpc-m (8 digit #)

the one that ur spouse will get...will have a 2 id's: client id (8 digit #) and an application #.....

when ur wife will get the ppr.....she will see it on top left corner of the letter......it is usually UCI or Unique Client ID....

What input do you guys have regarding this question I posted in a another thread:

What advantages does Receipt Number vs Client ID vs File Number have when we compare this to CAS ?
DNT2003

What do you mean by advantages? Cuz when it comes to checking ECas all of them work exactly the same way and bring you to the same page of information.

What I meant by advantages is:
Does eCAS shows anything different if one checks it by the

1) Receipt ID:
2) Client ID:
3) File ID / Number:

The results that are displayed on the eCAS do they vary if checked by one of the above information?

That's all I meant by advantages

Hope it clears up,

Nope...you can use anything to login..ecas info will be the same.

I don't want to rehash this topic again, but if someone with a super memory could tell me roughly how far back we were talking about cheap flights from Delhi to Toronto, that would be great... lol :)

@nylalisa
Think Air-India was the cheapest deal...
and btw, you promised me that you find my file from the heap... :-X

I looked man, but they keep that place tight!!!!

They dont bring alot of people in there... they were opening a bunch of new ones I seen when I was sitting there. I honestly don't know what is taking them so long. Did you send them a request? I mean your wife has to do it but you can do it on her behalf as their internal e-mail request system.

I suggest this website, and do let me know if you find a deal, switching dates +1 or -1 etc always helps
I love this site as it gives you the best price, so far I can't compare anything close to it, not even an agent who i used to get tickets from anymore.

skyscanner.net

Let me know what you think

Not sure if you read my earlier post last week, have contacted my MP and they said its unusual for ND not to respond to anything for 3 months straight..they have put in an inquiry and will let me know by next week :-)
Will hope for the best

I agree that it is super unusual. I wouldn't be so concerned if everyone else who went after you hadnt gotten PPR at least. They should have sent you that letter as much. Your MP will definetely get a response, normally CIC has to respond within 48 hours, but MPs and CIC wont tell you that. So your MP should have a response by now if CIC is upholding their end of the bargin. I only know this because I use to work for a CIC office and I was the one who responded to MP request.
