Not sure if i got your question right, assuming it was about the change in ecas when ND receives the file?
The trend i have seen in 2010-2011 is within 2-4 weeks once your sponsorship is approved your ecas for PR reads as
Application Received - We received your application on xxxx,xx
Medical results have been received.
I was actually asking abt the automated phone line...cause that got updated 2-3 days before my ECAS..but I wasn't sure if it does say anything once the files leaves Canada..

@ brin

i didnt know that a client can actually check the status over the phone....may be it is something new that they introduced....

well....u r correct...that automated phone line may be something similar to e-cas which doesnt get updated often or like once the file leaves canada...

Ohh yeah my automated cic phone line still says my file was transferred on Dec 24, 2010.
In my case the automated message saod that from dec 23 and i got the approval letter on dec 28.
Usually it gets updated as soon as your sponsorship is approved.

yea, they update e-cas saying "application received" and medical results have been received but then again they remove the line once they ask for the ppr....

not sure if this is something that they are practicing but with chc nd...u can never predict...

Yes, my medical line went missing somewhere in the last week in Feb..it has been 5 weeks and i still don see it

I cud see medical line only for 2 days

e-cas status chnged to application recieved and medical received on 03-03-11 and on 05-03-11 medical line disappeared.

anyways it does not matter much as long as they are not delaying our files........hope for the best

yea...seem like that is the pattern that they scan the file, upload the data and sits in the office for few weeks before it goes for the final review

Not in every case they remove medical receive when they ask for PPR.
I have heard that they remove "Medical Receive" in some case when they add information related to Interview schedule (if required). Again it is always mystery?

@ Itwillhappensoon

yea...that's always the mystery with chc nd

can you please share what does ur e-cas status says?

thanks in advance

For a few applicants on this thread..
medicals received line dissappeared after the PPR and PP was sent
It reappeared once the decision was made..
In my case, i don even have a PPR but the line is missing
guessing it is an indication that they are updating something.

yea....seems like when "medical line" disappears...it means that they are reviewing the file or it is in the line for further follow up or final review or some sort....

i am not sure that missing "medical line" means that they are scheduling for an interview...but who know with chc nd....
