can u please provide the wording of the email which ur wife sent to chc nd?

thanks

Sure, as i did not have a file number she had to quote my client id in the email.
My wife emailed chc nd on wednesday...

Hi,
My husband sponsored my application under the family class in Nov. The sponsorship was approved Dec 22 and from then i have not heard anything from CHC ND.
I am not sure if the letter for AOR/PPR was sent, i still do not have a file number and it concerns me.
Can you please let me know the status as it has been close to 3 months in Delhi and still no contact from the embassy.

Husbands name - xxx
D.O.B - xxx
Client ID - xxx

sincerely,
WIFE

Case Specific Enquiry
Your enquiry has been sent to the visa office processing your application. You should receive a reply within 28 working days (by email, regular mail or fax).If your application is within normal processing times you may not receive a reply from the visa office.

If your message contains new information for your application (e.g. adding a newborn or change of address) your file will be updated but the visa office may not respond to your email.

what does it mean Gagansingh...any guess

@ challenger485

"Applicaton Received" basically means that they have receievd the application....

like in my sister's case...they hava already sent the ppr and additional docs request but the status on e-cas still says "application received"....my guess is that it all depends how fast a case is being reviewed by the Visa Officer/Immigration Officer

i am sure that all of them have a different way of working....some asks for PP first and then review....while some review the file first and then ask for PP....

lets c how the ball rolls :)

keep us posted about ur status on e-cas

good luck :)

hello

Is there anyone who's application was recieved by ND CHC on 24th feb 2011 nd has gt any reply?

plz let me knw ............... :(

According to my analysis you should get a passport request in about 29 days

Feb 24 + 29days = Mar 25

Then you should add the time it takes to mail the letter to your location.
March 25 - April 5

If its taking longer then 45 days, then there is something
fairly complicated about your process.
Feb 24 + 45 days = April 10.

So don't worry until April 17 goes by. After this try to figure out
why your case is so complicated.

@mewe

my experince is post works very slow for smaller cities....it took 15 days for my PPR to reach me.
i know that wait is very hard and i had experinced it while waiting for my PPR. But i have a feeling that your PPR is on the way with India post.....

@ fprince....

why doesnt she even try the fax number in attention to "Immigration Section"...because then she will also have the confirmation of the fax receipt....

i would suggest that she should try this on Monday for sure....cuz this way they will definitely forward a paper copy of the fax to the specific department....
