@ Drdave --- that is awesome work man....u are 2 weeks behind me...will back track and see when likely i will get it.. we can validate your stat model.. lol... :)

I was just wondering about possible dealays in processing at ND.. Just anything possible that could possibly delay the application... This is something that i came up with...

1) Spouse born outside india...
2) Stayed there till 18 years or younger and holds an indian pp
3) Rejected for any Visa
4) Married previously and Divorced
5) dependent Kids???
6) Frequent Travel outside India.

These are things that i think CIC would look into when reviewing files...ofcourse this list can go on.....anything more to add??

I agree. If your case is simple then the approval process is really quick - 69 days, a little over 2 months.
If there are details that need to be checked, then it will take much longer like - 132 days, about 5 months.

The best indication of a simple process is a speedy passport request < 45 days. 70% of these case are done in about 69 days.
The rest of the cases are slow most likely because of reasons suggusted above. These are done in about 137 days, about 4.5 months.

If you have a long passport request, then there is something about your case that really is complicated and this pretty much
guarantees that your process will be long - 148 days, about 5 months.

Dr Dave

Congratulations Sank!
His process must have been simple and he must have provided good documentation.
Time in Delhi - Feb 4th to March 25th - total 49 days
This is the time I notice when application are starting to be finished - about 50 days.
My advice - wait 50 days - and then start expecting results. especially the 50 - 90 day period.

Thanks DrDave.... it is an awesome feeling!!!

I would say the case was simple with the things mentioned below..But i did provide detailed documentation and explanation... for each and everything... I had presented it like a novel and explained every question in the application thoroughly...

By the way i was a little concerned about the following things...

1) My wife was born abroad and lived there for 15 years..
2) Had her pp issued abroad
3) frequent travel...
4) Visa rejects

but guess these things dont matter...
