Yours is a much bigger wait..have you ever tried emailing them asking for what is happening?
from my gut feeling..files which moved to ND during Nov/Dec is somewhere and they have started to process files which came to them in Feb..cos most of them whose file went to ND in Mid Jan and Feb have already had their PPR..a few ppl like you, me and some others have been approved in 2010 but still no clue as to what ND is doing..i think by next week they will clear the backlog from 2010..lets hope for the best.

On the CIC website I noticed that the processing times for New Delhi VO is now shown as 6 months. Earlier they used to have some stats like

3Months - 40%
6MOnths - 80%

Did anyone else notice the change? Thoughts?

that change was done in late October/ November. not sure exactly. there were a few threads about this back then

Well 6 months is a time frame which they need to comply by but it seems that they are even going past 6 months and also clearing cases in 3-4 months so it's hard to trend it that what ND is doing, no one can understand this system, can only wait thats it

Here is a situation if anybody can answer this :

Say if a Sponsor is a Permanent Resident and sponsors his wife in India and Sponsor is in Canada, now his wife gets a visa is ready to come to Canada, Can the Sponsor go to India and come back together with her to Canada ( after she got the visa ) ?

Why not...as a PR a canadian airport won't deny u entry...as a visa holder ( assuming its a travel ) for the wife..again, why not she has a visa..why would they deny her entry..
again..now if you had already applied for PR in ND and your wife again requests a visitor visa ..then they will have the doubts.

If i understood correctly, can a husband travel back to india and return with his wife ( having her PR visa )..should be YES..all you are doing is travelling with her..i have heard some stories as to indian immigration does not like it and all that..but who cares..they can not deny you exit/entry.

Thanks for the reply, Yes thats what I am planning to go come back with my wife when she gets the visa so lets c.When you are a Canadian citizen it should be no problem as Canadian citizens can leave and enter Canada freely as they have the right to do it under the Canadian charter rights

As a PR we have a basic right to travel the universe and return with our wife ( provided she is legally allowed )

I would but the ETA is April 15th, 2011...and by then i should know whats happening..cos a few ppl who applied in 2010 have been delayed..i just hope they find the files again

Yup sometimes they act they are MI6...you jus have to play the game..and in your case you mentioned your wife's name is changed in the passport..you can not have any trouble..
all the best man...wish i could do that..lets see..cos i am becommin impatient and i might do it too..my citizenship is filed, but fcuk that ! its gonna take me another 12 months anyways

Well, it has been 185 days since we filled our appln, and 155 days since my file is forwarded to ND. 2 and half months since I sent my ppt to ND. Still am waitingggggggggggg for the visa..........

It was my citizenship test today and I did pretty good, now in next 2 months I have to take oath when they invite me.Yea it took like almost 2 years for citizenship application for me
