Hi flying;
That is a generic reply that they will send it to everybody who will contact New Delhi embassy to expedite the case.
But i am wondering why it took 10 months to get the file transfer to New Delhi ? U filed it in feb.15 2010 and file got transfered to ND on 21 december 2010 ? I don't get it.

I agree, first of all they committ to 6 months after your sponsorship is reviewed. So if it took 10 months already, I would be so in my MPs office and putting pressure on ND. I would want to know if there was a problem with my file that delayed it so much. They could have interviewed you faster than that to clear up any situation they have. Secondly, you have people who applied WAYYY after you and you are still waiting for review. No f-ing way man... you have to make a bigger fuss.

Now on to E-Cas as everyone said UNRELIABLE. You have people here that are in process and dont have PPR yet, you have someone like me who's file still says received yet, it must be in process because we have an interview in 29 days. So honestly it sucks but cant depend on what E-Cas says.... the only hope is correspndence from the office itself because at least it's dated.

What does CSQ mean are you guys talking about Case Specific Enquiries (CSE), because for people living in Quebec side and going through immigration CSQ is a selection certificate.

lolz.. :P that seems like a mistake.....guys I think its suppose to be 15th November 2010-that makes more sense, can't be FEB, or else just imagine he/she might have gone crazy waiting for her/his loved onces !!

Oh thats nothing then but stress and heartache like the rest of us. If they said it's waiting for final review, that's a good thing I would assume. It sucks but their agreement is 6 months. The more you e-mail and harasse them before time is up the more you can potentially delay your file. Sad but true.

Yess its true, but only if your file is still lying pending BC.
but yess again, if reply comes its under final reviews, then its surely good news, i guess

It's definetely better then in queue to be reviewed. It's most likely pending background check then file review. Hence why they say pending final review because they are done with it. As for how long they keep the passport, well it can be a while some have sent their passport for a long time before having it returned. My husbands will technically have been there 2 months by the time he goes for interview. Is it necessary for them to have it all that time and not just take it during the interview... who knows? No one will ever come to understand ND, they are like an alien race.. we know they exist somewhere out there, their purpose we have no clue.

Hi Guys...

I am in process to collect documents to apply sponsorship for my spouse... I have a question related to Photos submission. In Appendix A "Document Checklist-Immigrant" they have asked for Six (6) recent photos for each family member. Now my question is:

Do we also need to provide the Original Negative for the Photos?

I am not sure if I read in one of their document or I am mixing up this process with other...

Thanks in advance...

It does say about the negatives somewhere, I didn't send them... I am sure lots on this forum didn't. It's like so hidden where it's at, that I am sure it gets missed. So long answer short... it's not going to affect your application if you don't send the negative.

You do not need a negative for the immigration pics...6 photos are enough.
But for India, when i applied i had to submit a CD of the negative to the doctor who did her medicals...again it could be different as ND does not seem to have any rules or processes.
It was listed in the guide for medicals for India.
