No yaar, everywhere on PR application i have clearly written my family name and given name correctly.

oh ok, then they r considering the ppt's name.. This tuesday is also gone without any update Shud wait for the next tuesday.. man so frustrating.

hmm kuch nahi. anyways my husband and myself ve taken a decision he is gonna start packing all his stuff 4m canada by next week, and shud most probably be done by this month end for sure.. by that time, if I get visa, il come.. otherwise vr gonna say GOODBYE to canada and its immigration system.. And we r gonna start our life in India )) Thats it!!

Dont worry, ...coz ur MP told you your application is under final reveiw.....So you didnt got interview, this means that they consider your relationship genuine one.
..and also your BC are completed too....so,i think by now your case is approved and this friday your ECAS will be updated too.


And about me, tell me if CSQ will be of any help....coz last reply i got was BC going on.
So will they responds to me again ?

Should not be a problem, they already have your passport and they have your details from your PR file...maybe they were trying to update the system...

In my case i am applicant myself and no lawyer for us.
lat time i sent them email....so email will be better or CSQ?

Yeah u can def try CSQ.. Make sure its atleast more than 15days since u received the last email reply

And for me, am actually a bit relaxed.. as I know when I can join my husband, and its not uncertain.. U knw, I dont want my life to be tortured and decided by those ND folks.. They take their own sweet time to do BG checks thinking my marriage is a fake one, when I actually cry every minute being separated from my husband.. They cant even ask me for clarifications, but they suspect my marriage n verify in their own ways.............which obviously delay the time period.

Yeah u can def try CSQ.. Make sure its atleast more than 15days since u received the last email reply

And for me, am actually a bit relaxed.. as I know when I can join my husband, and its not uncertain.. U knw, I dont want my life to be tortured and decided by those ND folks.. They take their own sweet time to do BG checks thinking my marriage is a fake one, when I actually cry every minute being separated from my husband.. They cant even ask me for clarifications, but they suspect my marriage n verify in their own ways.............which obviously delay the time period.

I really wanna look at options if there is any way to sue CIC as anything is possible here..cos they always maintain if your file is complete ( where those idiots ) give us a check list most of the cases should be finalized within 6 months..but there is enough evidence from this thread to prove that CHC ND DOES NOT FOLLOW A PROCESS. They keep applicants who paid $1000 waiting like we are criminals and finally in 1 week they dispatch the files based on their dumb a$$ criteria..

ur right fprince.. am also looking out for an option actually.. They make lot of rules n stuff for us, but if it comes to them, they can liberalize their own rules.. U knw, they give us a deadline to submit the docs, n mention that if we dont submit by that time period, our visas will be rejected. But see what they ve done to my files? As per their website, they shud finish off initial review, n interview any within 2months of sponsorship approval. but I knw that my file was simply sitting there for 2months, they dint even open it!!! THIS IS SO BAD! Who can qn them on this?? They r contradicting themselves..

We are also going thru same pain, we can understand your feelings.
But think, they are taking same timeline for almost everyone.
And also you see for some countries the processing time is more than year and even beyond.
So we should be thankful to God that we have to wait less.
But one thing i was discussing wd my wife, that atleast for girls who are applying PR , CHC guys should understand that they are less likely to indulge in criminal or ani-social activities...and there should be less BC for them.

Hi all,

I'm enjoying my time with the hubby in india. Lots of family outtings =) Plus we just came back frm a hill station in Kerala and are heading to Goa soon. Haven't been on the forum for a while. But thought I'd come on today to report that my ecas changed. Nothing exciting lol...but at least it changed.... Now it says "in process" (since Feb 25th). We haven't gotten any interview requests to this point, nor additional docs requests at this point in time. Hoping for speedy visa stamping!!!!!!!!

The only thing i am concerned about at this point in time is our address status lol.
Back in January we updated our address through scanned letter via email (with hubby's signature), & through fax (with hubby's signature). We were instructed via email from a csq to do this. They also told us we can mail them a letter with his hubby's signature and we also did this.

But they only changed it after 3 wks...the first time..but then a few days letter they changed it back to the old address. Then 2 weeks after that so recently they left address field on Ecas blank then a few days after that they had old address back. WEIRD. Now as of today the address field on ecas is not existing for us. What about you guys?

It's very weird, confusing and frustrating. It worries me but at the same time I am not because we are still able to collect my hubby's mail at our old address. More than anything i find it weird.

hmm, hopefully.. but u knw what, MP said they checked my husband's BC also.. so it looks like they cna do BC for both husband and wife..

Welcome back Missinghim!! yeah ecas is very strange Btw, my address (am the applicant here) never got listed in ecas.
