Does anyone know if my husband (indian citizen) would need a visa to just travel through LONDON airport, ie. we won't be leaving the airport but have about an 8 hour stop there?

If you are transitting via London and London is not your final destination then you will not require any Visa,you just do a transit to a plane via London to Canada.and u can wait at London airport for those 8 hrs.

Yes I opened the pack and there was this not so new visa ( coz I've been to canada a dozen times before)

Sanyrog, nope my ecas doesn't say anything. In fact it din't even allow me to log in, so I never got a see a status on it - all I saw and I am seeing is the ususal stuff not found, see timelines etc...

congrats 7seconds.. can u pls tell me when did they issue ur visa n when did they post it? surprised that they update ecas promptly for few ppl, n not for others.. hw did u knw tht u were gonna receive ur visa yest?also u shud be able to see ur status thru ur sponsor's client ID also..u cud try that
