Just for the Information Folks :

If you pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee at the same time you pay the processing fees,
it will facilitate processing as we will not have to contact you later. If you do not do so, you will be
asked to pay this fee when we are ready to issue the permanent resident visa. Failure to pay the
fee at the time of submission of the application will result in a minimum additional two-month
delay in the finalization of the application.

Yes here is the breakdown of the Fees if you are sponsoring just the SPOUSE

$75 for the sponsor
+
$475 for a principal applicant (SPOUSE)
+
$490 - The Right of Permanent Residence Fee for a principal applicant ( SPOUSE )
-------------------------
Total = $ 1040.00 ( Fee for Sponsoring the SPOUSE including the The Right of Permanent Residence Fee )

I can't figure out E-Cas, some people don't have PPR yet but their file is in process. Some have PPR but are not in process. I know E-Cas is not reliable but that's just stupid.

congrats Panda and Goodnews!!! U guys shud be receiving ur PPR very soon. As soon as ND starts processing the files, 1st thing they do is PPR. Of course, that was not applicable to us (sep n oct applicants), they were too lazy So u guys shud be receiving ur PPR very soon. Yes in the PPR, ul find the applicant's client ID. They wont mention anything abt it in the ecas status.

You have paid the Canadian govt a lot..as described in their stupid " how to make easy $ guide "..lets all enjoy what these mother fu###### ND has to say after we have shelled more than $1000.........

Like I have said I got my PPR 1 week after file trandsfer but my case is still not In Process

Hmmm so it mean it might depend upon the Visa Officer handling the case to update the Ecas, some are lazy I think and some do update it right away.
