yes, sometime ND called to find out the info basically it's called interview over the phone . my close friend had and she is from Punjab somewhere..shared expereinced about the process this week. if you have missed the call just prepare yourself probably they will call you again .

Just want to let you guys know, my wife is landing today.......yeeeaaaahhhhh cant wait, just have to go to work for a bit, then I will go with my family to receive her.............this is going to be an amazing day, but the stupid time is not moving, time is going really really slow. .....

He had been landed in July 2010. sorry not sure about the exact timeline but his case took about 3 months.

after a month later got interview.

so when u r coming here? and where u will be land? i am in Vancouver .... if u need any help about 1st landing u can ask .......

Now i am just waiting to hear about sanyrog and mikoo once they both will be get visa i will cancel my account from here .......

and no worries girls now it's time for Ur turn and come on don't feel down OK? i am still praying for both of u and waiting for hear good news ....

However, the error was quickly caught by an Indian diplomat who drew the minister's attention towards it and Krishna switched to his own speech.

Speaking at the UNSC at a debate on security and development on Friday, Krishna read out the wrong speech for about three minutes before being corrected by India's envoy to the UN Hardeep Singh Puri.

Dont worry about interview or telephonic interview.

you will be called-

1. if your application is not too informative to convince them of your real marriage ,specially sponsor questionnaire and your background declaration and also providing them enough proof, like marriage and outing pics, phone bills, emails and mails etc.

2. and moslty punjab applicants can expect interview.

Even if you have telephonic interview or in person-

Do expect questions from your application only , coz this is what they have with them.
So its better to always have a copy of your full application, also you should know the spouse part of application, like - his/her address, job, designation, education, family members name....and you will be shocked even some guys were asked intimate questions in delhi and they confirmed the same answers over phone to his/her spouse in canada.

Coz when on specific date they call you for interview, they will ask you to inform your spouse to be awake around that time.
These Questions may be asked if incase you didnt had honeymoon after marriage.

But you will be called for interview in first 2 months of your application , otherwise not.

Just an information for you guys.

Hi lama,

Basically . In Spousal class...every timeline is counted from the day CPC- Mississauga received your application... generally your file took 4-5 weeks time here.

Then file moves to CHC - ND.
Then they decide in early stage whether to call you for interview or no.

So,like they decide for your interview in the first month of CHC-ND processing your case.
(Two months completed here)

but then again, they will send you letter and letter took almost 10 days to reach you since it was drafted.

they will still give you 15-20 days to come over for interview.
So you can count another one month to complete whole process.

Now, as every V.O function in their own way.

Some VO immidiately ask for your PP, and want to keep on your file. then thats why it takes like 2 or 2 and half months or more for issuing you Visa , after PPR
Some VO first decides , and when they ask you your PP they will immediately issue you visa and send your PP back...and you get back ur PP in 2-3 weeks.

Now, that why sometimes, you first get PPR and then Interview letter.
And sometimes you will be asked to bring PP while coming for interview.

As your processing time went beyond supposed 6 months,

Did you asked CHC the reasons of delay?

Coz you can ask, and they should give you detailed answer.

If you are requesting an update on the status of your case, you should not expect a detailed response unless the estimated processing times listed on Processing Times have elapsed since you made your application. You may wish to consult Client Application Status (for permanent resident applications) or VFS (for temporary resident applications).

and your 6 months processing time has passed now.
