same letter as mine that my wife received in Dec. Dont worry, just send PP with a copy of the PPR, and by the way congrats.

Missingyou, Delhi has actually sent u both the types of PPRs. u knw, they dont want to be partial lol. I was just thinkin, for all we knw, I might also get one more PPR when am waiting for my visa lol.

that was a good one @sanyrog...at this point we dont know, I just checked ECAS, no update waiting for 3pm EST as that was the time last week when it go updated. if I see anything you guys will be the first to know. but as far a having something in our hands, no luck today, maybe tomorrow, maybe the following day. arrrgggg.....

My husband's letter was the same with the exception that it dud not mention barcodes and it told him to give everything by March 11th. Ive already paid the fees at the beginning and they already have a PCC but it will expire by mid march so he obtained another one today, so really all that is left is the ppt. Hes leaving for India on Saturday and will deliver it to the embasy in person during their public hour on Monday.

Its weird I only seem to be the one who was given a specific date to turn things in by.

BTW, 40% of those let in this year will be family class. It seems like a high number but even at the upper limit of 265,000 ppl they let in... This is only 106,000 ppl from all applications for family class (parents, spouses, children) for the whole world. Even though they say the priority is on spouses and children, the numbers don't seem so great after that. And does this include in-land applications? What happends if they hit the limit?

Adihanda:

I like ur timeline

Even with an additional doc request, embassy processed ur case within 3-4 mths after receiving it! Oct they rec'd it n jan u got pp back with visa.

This is very promising!

Congrats! Enjoy life w/ur spouse! No one can separate u n ur wife now...not ever :)
Must be an amazing feeling!

One more thing:

Nylalisa:

Have ur hubby check if he can hand deliver it during public hour cuz in the ppr lettter that my husband rec'd it said specifically:

"Passports should be sent by any secured mail deliverers (hand delivery will not be accepted)".

He would then mail it to embassy when he arrives in india.

Ill check on that,I don't remember him reading anything like that but definetely will make sure, no point in him staying in Delhi for any time when he can go directly home to Punjab.

hey guys, can you check ECAS, it is extremely slow, it was like this last week as well, and then an update happened. nothing at the moment, just will check until 3.30pm EST

May be too much traffic is causing it to slow down, don't know

Mine ECAS still says : Application received on ..... and medical results have been received.

@Missingyou What does it say for you on ECAS ? Is it the same as me ? or something different ?

Thanks
Panda

I remember when I came to Canada in May 2006 under family class when my brother applied for our family. It took a freakin huge wait after interview and then they requested the passports and after 2 months of interview we got the Visa, we used to wait the VISA everyday and it didn't came and one day around 3:30 pm when I was not expecting anything and Visa wasn't on my mind at that time Visa came, we were so happy to get it though.

But life changes after you get what you want you don't feel it anymore and it feels normal after that, that shiny sticker only looks good the day it arrives lol it happens with everything.that's what life is all about I guess.

But now when I see back and look over lot of things, Canada is advanced in no matter a lot of things and is advanced from India, but I always miss India whatsoever,Canada is so poor in all those little things, I don't know about other people here but seriously if I would have tons of money I would not live in Canada, It's just money that is stopping me to go back to India.

Well hope for the best guys, just sharing an experience of my life.

On the scale of happiness from 1 to 10, I would give a 10 to my 28 years I spent in India, doesn't matter under what circumstances but it is and always will be memorable.

I would always love to go to India one charming day and will go there for ever , don't know when but that's what I think, I treat Canada as my job location and believe me Canada is over rated in everything.

Well lots of things to share , enough for today :-)

Sorry I went off the topic folks...

Cheers;
