From my experience they dont get you an acknowledgement they received it. You can only send them an email and see that way. We had to send in documents also. We didnt get any letter to say that got it. Dont worry its there as you know its delivered and chances are they have already added it to your file and processing.

hmm hope so .. tht they have added it to my file and are taking further action.

OK Guys! This is it! I received my PP with Visa, COPR, pics, cover letter today! My apology for being completely disconnected from the past few days but I made a pact with myself that i'll log in only when I have some good news to share! So my wife called up the MP's office day before and they got back yesterday only to let her know that my app. got approved on Monday, i.e., 11th Oct. and it was out in the mail on 12th, received it today, Oct. 16th via registered post! Took exactly 5 months!!!

This 1 and 1/2 year ordeal finally came to an end today for us as our previous app. got rejected! I'll see my wife after 9 months! Have my tix booked for Oct. 21st! Good Luck all and GOD Bless! You all are in my prayers! Will share my landing experience next weekend

Day 33 today since nd began processing still no ppr for my wife, seeing some positive movement this week really hoping for some Good news, I am so close to going to my mp's office.

dont worry. ul get it soon. Its been 22 days for me, since my file is transferred to ND. Still no change in eCas and didnt get my PPR also. Also cant u email them and ask abt ur status?

also since you have gone through a lot and have been on forums long enough, any idea if taking so long in PPR usually means trouble/interview? or in ur exp how long can PPR take? the wait is just killing

yup.. it's been 'in progress' since sep 21st but no further update

oh ok, may be, they do all sort of processing for u before PPR itself, so that once they ask for ppt, visa will be immediately issued. No delay there.

Ya that's what I really hope too.. but then scary too as over 90% of ppl with same timelines got the ppr and mostly for ND ppr comes pretty soon

Mine says in process since 16 sep, better to goto the mp then email them, mp's seem to get a faster response back

kal1313 its being a month since ur file in process .......no ppr yet......any specific reasons for late processing as its been almost 2 and half mths u applied file..?????
