@ Furkan - Congrats and have fun in India! Good Luck.

Got an update on E-CAS, but not exactly the one we were looking for...Interview scheduled for October 20th. My wife will be 27 weeks pregnant by then so I dont know if they will be conducting an interview or examining her belly lol...If her interview goes well how long does it take to get her VISA?

Hey Kunal she does not need any pcc once she gets here, all she needs here is her passport with visa and a declaration form for customs to fill and she will be handed that form on board the plane . oh yeah just make sure she has a working pen trust me a pen can be your best friend on board the plane as there will be stuff to fill out . Rest they are not going to ask for any kind of proof at the immigration here Good luck

Kunal,
Your wife must also show her Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) to the Immigration Officer. The COPR is sent along with the visa.

EDIT: Oh! I just realized your wife is coming tomorrow. Congratulations!! Glad your wait is over.

I just got an update on ecas saying they started processing my spouse's pr application as of Sept 16th. I pray that it is smooth sailing from here on for me and good luck for the other folks with their cases!

kal1313, i wish you luck in moving forward with ur case! Hopefully you got an update today as well.

thanks spsponsor yes checked the ecas and it says processing started on the 16th of sep as well woohoo, they even corrected my wifes last name as they had it spelled wrong in the original ecas tracker , so I am happy .

No update for us this week :( Hopefully next week. Is there anyone who has a similar timeline to ours that did hear something?

Hey sunny I was reading your details sorry about your loss, I was talking to a friend of mine that is also an immigration consultant and he was telling me that he has heard of cases where the spouse would go for an interview and if all went well they would get the passport stamped with the visa right there. Just make sure she is up to date with all your information and even go through the interview questionnaire that someone had posted on this site .

Hello All,

My sponsorship application was approved by CIC on 7th September 2010. When do you think, my eCAS will change from "Not Avaialble" to "In PRocess" ?
