My file has been in process for 15 months as well.. Can you please give some more details about your file as in did you visit ND in person, also did you have to do your medicals again? Please reply as I am planning to visit ND in person the next month.

To all who have got the DM and passport back from ND CH with the visa..

Do they return back anything beside the passport, from what I know and heard, they return all the proofs (pictures,chat logs,email logs,ticket copies etc) back with the passport?

Is that right?

My husband just received his passport back. There was a letter confirming his granted PR and the pictures we sent with the application.

I am also started to get worried now a little. Its been over 2 months. Nothing after Nakash! Nothing after us either.. so they are just stuck at us? - First week of Feb ?

I asked for notes last week, I guess I have to wait a few more weekens before I get them. I was hoping I would hear some progress before notes arrived.

For anyone that applied for notes before, do you think it might've delayed the process? My mom was thinking that it might since they have to pull the file out of que to get an update. Then they would probably put the package at the end of the pile. Thoughts about this? I figured it was system reported notes.

If you had recieved CORP And passport amd pics then its fine. Sometime they dont send everything back since they are just photocopies

I got to know this by reading rsponses in this thread earlier.

Pls do share your husband landing exp with us. Also pls inform me if they check bitth certificate or they just accept dob on your passport.

Anyone else can tell me about birth certificate it would be great!

According to my analysis ... you will be getting ur visa before this month ends...

SBDelhi, why is your case taking so long? Do you have an interview? lots of travel history? Did they requested additional proofs? whats ur ECAS status? Did you contact you MP? Did you get Notes yet? Did you do an email enquiry?

Sorry i got lots of questions for you but I just wonder why is it taking so long for your case?

My analysis which i have posted previously says 20% case may take as long as they can.. But I always wondered what were the reasons..

80% of Dec applicants should have been/ are completed by May-June.

they finished 50 % cases in 4 months, 70% in 6 months and 80% in 7 months.

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date on which the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga.

So, lets say there were 10 - Jan,2012 applicants - out of them

5 will be approved by May,12
2 will be approved by July,12
1 will be approved by Aug,12

the remaining 2 can take however long..

Similarly if there were 30 - Feb,2012 applications - out of them

15 will be approved by June,12
6 will be approved by Aug,12
3 will be approved by Sept,12

Now obviously this is the case when Mississauga is not causing additional delays, this Jan there time got increased by at least a month or so- which can explain water fall effect delays for all Jan,Feb, so on ... applicants.

this extra time should be added to the above calculations and going back to the e.g of Feb applicants would now be like:

30 - Feb,2012 applications - out of them

15 will be approved by July,12
6 will be approved by Sept,12
3 will be approved by Oct,12

similarly

10 - Jan,2012 applicants - out of them

5 will be approved by June,12
2 will be approved by Aug,12
1 will be approved by Sept,12

Look at the trackers, majority of Jan applicants were are being approved this June-July (5 out 10)

I suspect the same for Feb, majority will be July-august(15 out of 30)

I've heard that when leaving India, a new PCC is required. Is that true? Does anyone know this? If a new one is required, then we have to get it again once visa is issued and passport back.

Please help anyone.

It is taking too long so my wife is going to contact my MP, what kind of information she need to give him because she is pregnant and expecting baby by the end of august?
Any idea please help..
