Guys, something really weird happened. My husband's ecas got another column that says "permanent residence application" and "decision made" and says the following:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 12, 2009.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 15, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

The above is when my husband got his PR. Why is it showing on my application's ecas? Anyone know?

Mine is still "application received". SOO weird.

For the CAIPS or GCMS note , can I send the application via email or it has to be via mail?

Which one works quicker?

Yes you can send it through email, it will work faster. The MP assistant will reply you ASAP.

Hello All,

My spouse file was transfer to New- Delhi back in May 16. She received PPR request on June 4 (Which we sent with in 2 days) . With in few days we notice that her home mailing address has been updated on E-cas.

But status still shows "Application received"
a) We received your application for permanent residence and
b) Medical results have been received .

How long it takes to get PPR request ? and also will we be seeing " Application in process" before we get our Passport back.

Thanks.

IS it that the processing time for spousal sponsorship from New delhi visa office has recently changed to 8 months or was it always like this?

will it really take 8 months to process the spousal sponsorship application. because one of my friend said his wife got Passport request in less than a month. so I am little curious. any idea?

ohhh it just changed recently, it was 6 month before. PPR has no relation with processing time especially in case of New delhi. i got PPR just after 9 days of file transfer to new delhi and yesterday i got interview scheduled for me for july 31.
we should not look at these things on CIC website, its useless. when we sent our application, processing time for stage 1 was only 48 days and we waited for 97 days for sponsorship approval. now when we were expecting DM within next 2 months, they sent interview letter and asked to wait for 2 months. >:( >:(
finally NO IDEA dear :-\ :-X

hello everyone
can contacting MP help us in finding the reason for interview so we can prepare well and collect some more supporting docs. ::)
i am planning to contact my MP on Monday and applying for GCMS notes also at same time. i am not sure how long GCMS notes will take to come, maybe after interview ??? ???
thanks and best of luck to all of us :)

hi i am new to this site....just wondering if they really change time from 6 to 8mnts...that sucks.....i sent my file on may 15th...how long is th wait?

wow it was 6 month before but mine was first case it took full 8 months.. i had asked them why u display 6 months when my case took 8 months and looks like they took it seriously to update their site with correct figure
