Thread for applicants of NEW DELHI 2010!

Yeah. Electronic files and status of application. I also checked the box that said "Permanent Residence" and wrote my file number, client Id and location is New Delhi, India. I ordered it around a week back and it usually takes three weeks so two more weeks to go.

ok but permanent residence box is under " immigration file in canada" do you think, we should tick that box or not?? i thought its for inside canada and our file is outside canada.
sorry, if im so concerned about this, actually i dont want to do any mistake and want to know the reason for interview before i attend my interview.

Yeah, you are right. You don't need to tick the PR box.

Hope everything goes well for you. I think they are calling you for interview coz the applicant is the husband. They seem to do that a lot. Anyhoo, best of luck with everything.

OMG got interview letter from new delhi this morning scheduled for July 31.
i submitted almost everything i am supposed to and we were not expecting anyone to doubt our relationship. what should we do now, they asked to bring everything like, marriage photos, invitation card, and communication proofs but i sent everything with application. should i take one more copy of all docs and most important, we are living together in India, does sponsor need to go for interview also??
sponsor's parents didnt attend marriage and reception, can it cause interview, sponsor's mother provided 2 notarized reference letters of support for both of us?
we are not afraid of interview but its going to waste lot of time(waiting for interview and then background checks)

Don't worry my friend..if the marriage is genuine i don't think you will face any problem..Did your status changed to in process on the website or it still shows as application received?

I contacted MP on May 28, how long i have to wait to contact the MP again to know the status of my application. My lawyer faxed a letter to ND yesterday on June 13. Will it delay my application, since I got GCMS notes, contacted MP, and this month my lawyer contacted them as well.

No, it won't. Since you've been waiting so long, it's good you got your MP involved.

Don't worry my friend..if the marriage is genuine i don't think you will face any problem..Did your status changed to in process on the website or it still shows as application received?

status is still "application received and medical received" status goes in process after interview only not before that. i hope everything goes well. what about your status, wish you receive your visa soon

Got DM today and address updated to Canada ....finally it has been a long wait.
How long it takes to get the passport after seeing DM?

I don't know what they mean by final review. My mp said yesterday that visa will come in 15 days but ND is talking about review still. They don't give full information it seems
I remember some people getting DM in 1-2 weeks after getting this kind of response from new Delhi
I guess it is their std template that they use to copy paste

Got DM today on my wife's(Sponsored person) estatus. Oh my god so much relieved and soooooo much excited to see this result which i have been waiting for a long long time.
