From what we are seeing so far, those whose cases are straight forward with ample proofs and documentations and NO foriegn travel, they are issuing visas at about 120-150 days on average.

For those with foreign travels, its taking anything above 6 months.

My husband spent 2 years in UK on working holiday visa. I pray this is not true. :(

Does anyone else here have a spouse with travel history?

Hey Sri, Yes Finally its Over..................

So happy for you. You and your partner both have a bright future and all the very best....

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

yes i lived in UK for 15-16 months but i dont think that will cause a delay of few months. there is an applicant "Newdelhi..." with travel history of 2 years in UK and got visa within 3 months of PPR. we cant predict anything about CIC as we are waiting for sponsorship approval for more than 3 months. everything what we can do is wait.....wait and wait.
best of luck :)

My husband spent 2 years in Australia and 1 year in UK. For this reason, I expect our processing will be slower than Srinivas for example, I believe his wife has never travelled outside India. So I'm preparing to be patient (not my strong suit)... :(

Kiwinijjar, do you want to add your timeline to your profile and the spreadsheet? It helps to figure out who our nearest batchmates are :)

nani, try sending them your details via email and also fax to make doubly sure if you want. They may not reply but they should update your file accordingly if you quote the applicant's full name, DOB and file number.

Fax: 91 (11) 4178-2020

E-mail: delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca

Oh yes, that's also a good idea.

On another note, once you went to "in process", is that when the applicant's address showed up on ecas? I am the sponsor and ecas shows only my home address right now; nothing for my husband.
